San Francisco Giants @ Los Angeles Dodgers
Dodger Stadium
Johnny Cueto, RHP
The 10-year veteran has performed well but fruitlessly at Dodger Stadium, where he's 4-5 with a 2.67 ERA in nine career starts. Historically, Cueto has thrived in March/April, fashioning an 18-11 mark with a 2.97 ERA.
Alex Wood, LHP
After a breakout All-Star season, Wood is promoted to second-starter status. For the first time in his career, he has abandoned the windup and is pitching exclusively from the stretch.

That 2.67 era of Cueto’s looks pretty formidable, especially after yesterday’s futile display. I assume Kersh is available for pinch hitting duties.
GO DODGERS!!!

Let’s see how long the “Puig in the #3 hole” experiment lasts. 0 - 3 last night with a walk and two K’s. Not exactly what you want to see, but if he had been down at #8 (where he belongs IMHO), Kersh possibly plates him after that W & SB. Just sayin’ . . .
GO DODGERS!!!

Hope Alex Wood can take some of his success from last year into this season. He was lights in the first half last year. Probably might see a drop off but I'm hoping he can be a solid number 2 pitcher in this rotation.

Tonight's lineup:
Taylor CF Seager SS Puig RF Bellinger 1B Grandal C Kemp LF Utley 2B Forsythe 3B Wood P
Not a good sign for Joc if Kemp is going to get the the starts against RHP.

Why all e lineup changes?? Guys need to understand their roles. different lineup every night!!! That's been my biggest problem with Roberts and the FO. They're more than willing to play musical chairs with the lineup and don't really pay particular attention to certain spots. They should. 3 and 4 are the most important spots in the lineup and if you don't have the right hitters in those places, it can be hard to generate offense.

Meh, it's baseball. See the ball, hit the ball. This isn't brain surgery.

I'll say this. The last couple years the MLB.tv service had a rocky start in April before ironing out the kinks.
This year no problems at all, so far anyway. The picture is the best it's ever been too.
