JR, so Puig's the whipping boy, /huh Always. Not for me. Puig will do fine. Nah - I’m just foolin’. They ALL look lost at the plate. I’m just trying to keep razzing Panic because you and I both know he’s checking and reading this site and it’s driving him mental he can’t join or post here. I DO like Puig lower in the order, though. He just seemed much more relaxed there last year and did not look good at all batting higher during both the regular and postseason. GO DODGERS!!!

Doc seemed to do a lot of tinkering with the line-ups last year, but some of his best and most productive ones were when Yasiel hit eighth.
Why he chose to screw around with them in the postseason remains one of the big mysteries of 2017 to me.
I know with Turner out to start the season he’s somewhat limited and trying to get that same type of production without him, but five hits (two of which were by Kersh) in 18 innings ain’t getting it done.
Who’d have thunk we’d be 0 - 2 to the lowly Gnats with our best two pitchers each owning one of those losses due to one bad pitch by each?
GO DODGERS!!!

I think Puig puts it together this year and becomes a real star. He's got too much talent for a bottom of the order spot, as I've posted before I see him best near/at top of the order. Probably end up 5th. He's easily better than Grandal, Forsythe, Barnsey, Chase, and Kemp. Wondering about Kiké. Yeah, he Puig has gotta come around, soon. Batting him 8th is babying him, sink or swim, Puiggy. Looks like JT is the true offensive leader on the team. It's early but no one else showing it, yet.

I had a feeling the offense would struggle early. You don't lose a bat like Turner without feeling a ripple effect. They'll find themselves eventually. But what I don't get is putting Joc on the roster, and then not even playing him. If he's not going to start against righties, then he shouldn't be on the roster. I have no problem with him on the roster, but at some point you have to start him. I expect to see him in the lineup the next two games. At least give him a chance to build off his WS success.
