A.J. had a decent opening day at the plate, but gave up the winning run on a fly ball that hit his glove and then bounced out and up off the RF wall before he re-caught it.
Would’ve been the third out of the inning. Replay overturned the call on the field after initially missing the ball carom off the wall and back into Pollock’s glove.
GO DODGERS!!!

A.J. Pollock hits the IL first week of the season with a hamstring strain. We all know how troublesome those can be.
But who didn’t see this one coming?
GO DODGERS!!!

Wasn't Garvey a gymnast in college? For a muscled up guy, he never seemed to get those hamstring pulls. He could do the splits at first base better than anyone I ever saw.

Never heard that about Garv being a gymnast, but I certainly wouldn’t doubt it. That was one of my big advantages at 1B. At 6’3” in full splits, which I could still do in my 50’s playing softball, I was able to stretch and give my other infielders that advantage of shorter throws and a “longer” target. GO DODGERS!!!

I could never do that. More players should follow Garv's regimen though.

Josiah Gray is having a pretty decent start to his season. 2-1 / 3.14 ERA. 18 K's in 14.1 innings.
Dee Gordon has played in 3 games, with 3 at bats. Two strikeouts. He's with the Nationals. He spent all of 2021 in the minors. Three organizations. Cubs, Pirates & Brewers. He's 34 years old. He's making $800,000 this year.

His last name basically encircles his number on the back of his jersey. And he still has the arm of a little leaguer. GO DODGERS!!!

Ohtani just walked Corey Seager, who is batting .242 so far.

Ohtani has been abusing a pathetic Rangers' lineup. Seager up again.
Trout hit his 11th homer.
Seager flies out to end the inning. 2-1 Angels thru 5.0.

Ohtani might be running out of gas. He just allowed the tying run to score. 85 pitches.
