Corey Seager is not listed among the starters or reserves on the lineup card that the Dodgers revealed Monday.
Seager missed a game last Friday with tightness in his hip flexor. He returned to play both games of Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday, but it would appear that he suffered a setback. An official announcement should come from the Dodgers soon. Breyvic Valera is expected to replace Seager on the roster. Apr 30 - 6:21 PM

Not just the DL. Tommy John.
"Today, the Dodgers recalled Breyvic Valera from Triple-A Oklahoma City and placed Corey Seager on the 10-day DL with a right UCL sprain. Seager will undergo Tommy John surgery and will miss the remainder of the season."
Corey, why didn't you fix this in the offseason? Unreal. How could they allow this to be a possibility?

This sucks. He probably would have missed most of, if not the entire season had he gotten the surgery right after the season though, so we would have been screwed either way.

Definitely the most valuable player on the team (IMO) considering his position, and the fact that he actually has been an above average defender in addition to the great offensive output.

Kinda wish we had Charlie Culberson right about now. Never understood why they got rid of him, especially considering this was a possibility.

He definitely should have taken care of this injury after last season. He would have missed most of this season or all of it anyhow, but now he is going to miss part of next season too.
This team is now in real trouble. Injuries are piling up and could take a real toll on their season. Unless we find a diamond in the rough, it could get ugly.

I guess we just forget what he did in the playoffs?

I guess we just forget what he did in the playoffs? That'll never be forgotten. First we need to get to the playoffs though & Culberson isn't the guy to get us there.

He probably felt it was worth the risk to see if he could avoid the surgery. He may have made it back this season had he gotten it, but it’s entirely possible he might not have. But we do know he will be back next year. Sure he may miss April and maybe May, but he will be back.

No I understand, I was referring to what CC did and thought he could at least be a plug in case this happened. But yes he was never going to put up numbers anywhere close to Corey's numbers. I wonder what they will do. I don't see a Machado trade happening nor do I want them to even try. O's have all the leverage and will ask for too much a guy who almost likely won't be back next year. Guess Kike and CT3 are going to have to carry the lions share at SS.
