Agree 100%. I like Utley and he's been a good pro but signing him for a 2 year deal has me wondering.
He takes up a valuable roster spot which Peter could have used or someone else.
Hopefully we'll have a decent bench with opportunist players.

The 2 year deal for utley seems like a one year deal spread out over 2. I really think Peter can handle that role and if Chase struggles then I'm wondering if he just hangs em up. We'll see.
