I was rooting for the guy. He had some moments of stardom. But if he can't do it in spring training, he's not likely to do it in the regular season.
Here's to hoping he lands on his feet somewhere and finds success...

I think this is a bit harsh. I think Thompson has some talent and probably does belong on a MLB roster...just not ours! Being athletic is great. As John Kruk might tell you, it doesn't guarantee success on a baseball field. |

Bottom line is Trayce just some a very good baseball player. A poor defender and a poor hitter. Not a good combination. The point was that he had options therefore the team would not DFA him. The 4 days that went on about it was that you never made your pick about who the 4 off the bench would be. Let's get it straight. |
