As I recall he's a switch hitter, not a lot of power or speed but hits for a decent average.

Is that why he's hitting like poop and also why he has already made 4 errors at third? Come on dude. That's why I like Kike. He'll play anywhere, won't complain about it, and does a solid job defensively. He's isn't hitting either, but at least he finds ways to help the team. Forsythe's stint on the DL really couldn't come at at better time for him, IMO. By the time he gets back, hopefully Turner will be back and he can go back to playing second. |

Kind of agree with you on this one. I went from 2nd base to 3rd my senior year in HIGH SCHOOL. He's a major league player!!!
And it's not that long of a long throw either...

And is there really a difference in arm angle? I mean if you throw the ball correctly with the proper form, then this really shouldn't be an issue. You're just throwing it further than from 2nd. Maybe he developed bad throwing habits at second because it's such a short throw? I just don't buy this excuse. It seems like a very soft thing to say. Nolan Ryan would tell him to STFU. |
