Fernando Valenzuela has lost his fight to the big C at 63.
I’ll always remember him for the no-hitter he threw which my softball team and I watched at one of our fav Friday night dives (The Wedge) after our game that night.
Even with all of them being Reds fans and Dodger haters, they actually cheered along side me when he got that final out.
It was impossible not to like Fernando, even if you didn’t like the Dodgers.
Rest in peace, big man. Your screwball was truly a thing of beauty.
FIRE DAISY & FRAUDY!!!
