His writing is worse than mine. $2,500 already? Damn - nine days left in the auction. Easily see this going to five, maybe six figures. GO DODGERS!!!

Sounds like the chiquita who caught his first LA HR is now changing her “I’m happy with what I received” story, now that she is getting more “suggestions” as to what it might be worth.
Initial reports had her meeting O and receiving a signed ball and bat and two caps.
Now it appears she was whisked away by security and separated from her husband and pretty much took what THEY (meaning the Dodgers) felt was ample and adequate compensation for the ball.
She NEVER met Ohtani or even had the chance to for a photo op or fist bump or hug.
She did appear to be surrounded by the yellow coats (security) as she was escorted out of the bleachers.
I’m guessing this either gets swept under the rug or, more likely, continues to gain momentum forcing LA & perhaps even Oh to make amends and additional compensation.
If it had been me, I’d have been out of there in a heartbeat, ball in pocket until I had a chance to see just how much LA & Oh were willing to do for the ball.
If a uniform number is worth a Porsche, the first of what may end up being a Dodger record for HR’s has got to be worth more than a few “token” items.
GO DODGERS!!!

They should have roughed her up a little bit. Ohtani surrounded by his Yakuza bodyguards. A new interpreter / gambling liaison. Two sumo-sized bodyguards hoisting her on her petard. If we still had Trevor Bauer, he could have taken her out for drinks afterward. 'Yeah. He did you wrong. I would have taken much better care of you than that. What are you doing now?'
