I’m shocked he only allowed the tying run. Look how the Reds are when they keep Ely off the bases? 0 - fer since Thursday.
Reds have scored five runs in 21 innings. They had seven runs in the opener W including two late tack-ons and Ely scored three of the first four.
Hopefully LA keeps that in mind later this week!
GO DODGERS!!!

No way Vespa gets another inning, right? Even Daisy wouldn’t tempt that fate.
Why not let Oh steal with no outs? Freddy grounds out instead of into a DP. Teo’s hit then scores Oh.
Then try to steal with two outs and a favourable count to the only dude who has hit the ball today?
Someone please explain where the analytics were in those play calls?
GO DODGERS!!!

Scarborough Fair giving away runs with another infield error. D on this team is meh at best. GO DODGERS!!! Dodger fielding ranks 3rd out of 30 teams Seems like they make a lot of errors, even without Maxine. Don’t think I’ve seen them play a game all year without an E. But I’ve only watched probably half their games so far this year. Didn’t get the free MLB- TV this year as we had to dump T-Mobile after 6 plus years (and we were with Nextel / Sprint for over a decade before T-Mobile bought them out). Had to get new phones (we were using 7’s) as a good deal of the apps (including both of T-Mobile’s) required a version of IOS that would not download to 7’s. I couldn’t even get my tickets for the Reds / Dodgers series this weekend without the Ballpark app; and it also required the latest version of IOS. T-Mobile screwed around with us for about a month before I got tired of their BS and we switched over to Verizon. Got brand new phones and 5G coverage; monthly bill went up but only $5 but I had to drop my mom from our plan. We were paying $90 / month for three lines thru an old “grandfathered” Sprint plan. Now paying $95, but again only two lines, but superior phones and service. Gonna get mom on one of those “old folks” plans thru Consumer Cellular. It’ll give her everything she wants and needs for less than $15 / month. She was paying $20 for T-Mobile. I don’t thinks she’s ever made a call on it in several years. Most of the time she just leaves it on its charger. GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Anthony Banda: Nabs win in Dodgers debut Rotowire 1 HR AGO Banda (1-0) earned the win over Cincinnati on Sunday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.
After being acquired in a trade with Cleveland on Friday, Banda was brought up to Los Angeles on Sunday and asked to keep the Reds offense at bay in the top of the 10th inning. The southpaw was successful in doing so, keeping the automatic runner from coming home in a nine-pitch frame. Banda bounced between six teams over the past four campaigns and hasn't yet shown an extended run of MLB success, so he's likely to work primarily in lower-leverage spots with the Dodgers for the time being.
Dodgers' Yohan Ramirez: Traded to Dodgers Rotowire 5 HRS AGO The Dodgers acquired Ramirez from the Mets on Monday for cash consideration, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Ramirez continues to bounce around, as he'll join his third organization since April following two stints with the Mets and one with the Orioles. He's out of options, so the reliever must join the Dodgers' active roster. He's allowed 11 runs over 14.1 relief innings in the majors this season.

Dodgers' Dustin May: Begins throwing off mound Rotowire 35 MINS AGO May (elbow) has started throwing off a mound at the Dodgers' team facility in Arizona, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
May has been slowly working his way back from the surgery underwent on his right flexor tendon and UCL in July. The right-hander will progressively increase his workload on the mound before he'll likely throw live batting practice and ultimately go on an extended minor-league rehab assignment. The organization will likely be especially cautious in their approach to May's recovery and his return to the majors is currently projected to come around the All-Star break.
Dodgers' Joe Kelly: Launching throwing program Rotowire 48 MINS AGO Kelly (shoulder) is set to begin his throwing program Monday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Kelly has been on the 15-day injured list since May 6 with a right shoulder strain and he will now take the first step towards making his return. The right-hander will likely need to build up his workload and even potentially make a trip to the minors for a rehab assignment. Depending on how his shoulder responds to the beginning of his throwing program, Kelly will receive a timetable for his return, which currently appears to be at least a week away at the earliest.
Dodgers' Bobby Miller: Scheduled for sim game Rotowire 48 MINS AGO Miller (shoulder) is expected to throw a simulated game Tuesday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Miller continues to make progress in his recovery after being sent to the 15-day injured list April 13 due to right shoulder inflammation. He successfully completed a bullpen session Saturday, and as expected, he's now been given the green light to toss a sim game. Miller will likely be sent out on a rehab assignment later in the week, assuming all goes well Tuesday.
Dodgers' Evan Phillips: Will require several rehab outings Rotowire 52 MINS AGO Phillips (hamstring) is expected to make 2-to-3 rehab appearances before being activated from the 15-day injured list, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Stephen estimates that Phillips is about a week away from a return, though how the right-hander fares during his rehab outings will ultimately dictate his exact return date. He's been shut down since May 3 since suffering a right hamstring strain.
Dodgers' Emmet Sheehan: Had internal brace procedure Rotowire 1 HR AGO Sheehan revealed Monday that last week's right elbow surgery was an internal brace procedure, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The internal brace procedure typically allows for a shorter rehab than your traditional Tommy John surgery, although Sheehan noted Monday that he's been told to expect the rehab to last 13 months. That puts the young right-hander out until around the All-Star break next year.
