Those Padres uniforms are a nightmare. The players must be protesting them. Those unis look like clown suits. The worst part is, the names on the back are in yellow. Try reading them on a white background.

0-2 count. Max took a wild hack at the second pitch. K number 11. 1-0 Pads thru 6.0. 88 pitches. There's no denying this: the King had wicked stuff with masterful command. The pitches had unreal movement. It was a rare performance indeed. I thought I was watching Roger Clemens. And what irony, that his ERA before the game was 4.29. There was no way he'd beat Glassman, whose one hit he allowed went all the way. Talk about bad luck! But 2 starts this month, 13 straight shutout innings. Let's see how he does his next start.

Pages is 2 for his last 15 at bats. He's just coming back to Earth, as pitchers around the game hear of him and learn how to pitch to him. But he did walk twice last nite, and once the previous game, after having zero walks. He's a very aggressive hitter, indeed, like Vladdy Guerrero SR, and Raul Modesi.

Dodgers' James Outman: Heads to bench Sunday Rotowire 23 MINS AGO Outman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Andy Pages will draw the start in center field while Outman retreats to the bench for the series finale. Outman went hitless across six at-bats while starting in the first two games of the series, bringing his batting average down to .153 for the season.
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Resting Sunday Rotowire 25 MINS AGO Lux is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Miguel Rojas will pick up a start at the keystone in the series finale while Lux rests. The 26-year-old has started in six of the Dodgers' first nine games in May, going 4-for-19 with a home run, three walks, two RBI and three runs.
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Out Sunday with back tightness Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Ohtani (back) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Ohtani's absence from the starting nine was fully expected after he was removed from Saturday's 5-0 win over the Padres following his fourth at-bat of the night due to lower-back tightness. According to ESPN.com, manager Dave Roberts said he had minimal concern about Ohtani's health, but the star designated hitter will nonetheless sit out the series finale in San Diego. The Dodgers are seemingly hopeful that Ohtani can return to the lineup for Monday's series opener in San Francisco.
Dodgers' Andy Pages: Notches first big-league steal Rotowire 4 HRS AGO Pages went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Padres.
Pages withstood a Padres review challenge to pick up his first theft as a major-leaguer following an eighth-inning single. The 23-year-old hasn't been a big base-stealer as a pro, topping out at seven thefts in the minors, though he does have 83rd percentile sprint speed, per Statcast. Pages continues to see everyday playing time for the Dodgers, but he's tailed off a bit of late with a .158/.261/.158 slash line and 34.8 percent strikeout rate over his past six games.
Stats 6 HRS AGO Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Crushes grand slam in win Rotowire 6 HRS AGO Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's win over the Padres.
Hernandez jumped on a hanging slider after being down 1-2 in the count with two outs in the sixth and sent it over the wall in left field for a grand slam, putting the Dodgers up 5-0. It marked the outfielder's 11th home run of the season and the fifth in his last eight games. He's now tied with Salvador Perez, Jose Ramirez and Juan Soto for second in the majors with 33 RBI on the season.
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Homer, double in win Rotowire 6 HRS AGO Freeman went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Padres while also drawing a walk.
Freeman kicked things off for the Dodgers with a solo shot off Matt Waldron in the top of the first, giving the first baseman his fourth home run of the season. The veteran infielder would reach three times on the night after also doubling and drawing a walk, raising his average to .333 in the month of May. Freeman has now hit safely in five straight games and in 17 of his last 19 contests overall.
Dodgers' James Paxton: Hurls six shutout innings in win Rotowire 6 HRS AGO Paxton (5-0) earned the win over the Padres on Saturday, pitching six shutout innings while allowing four hits and striking out four.
Paxton never found himself in any serious trouble throughout the contest, allowing only one extra-base hit as the Dodgers cruised to a shutout win. The veteran lefty threw 15 of 22 first pitches for strikes and produced 10 whiffs on the night en route to earning his fifth win of the campaign. Paxton has allowed one run or fewer in back-to-back starts and in four of his seven outings this season. Saturday also marked his first start this season in which he didn't issue a walk.
Stats 14 HRS AGO Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Nursing back tightness Rotowire 15 HRS AGO Ohtani was removed from Saturday's game versus the Padres due to back tightness, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said his level of concern regarding the injury is "minimal," but the skipper is leaning toward holding Ohtani out of Sunday's lineup as a precaution. Roberts will wait to see how Ohtani feels Sunday morning before making a final determination. Before exiting Saturday's contest, Ohtani went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.

I did heavy lifting much of the day and felt time till I got home and flopped on my bed. Then, it felt like a dagger in my back. I saw the worker's comp doc the next day, and thanks to some therapy, a shot in my butt and an anti inflammitory pill the size of a golf ball, I only was out half the day. Good as new

Their Mother's Day jerseys aren't quite as nightmarish as the other ones. Still pretty bad though. Khaki & pink?
