Grove with another stellar inning of three hits and three runs after getting first two out. ERA now an outstanding 21.00.
Dude needs some more AAA innings.
Good thing Teo and the offense remaining hot.
GO DODGERS!!!

Looks like even the poverty stricken Dodgers have sunk to the lowest of lows with a new patch on their sleeve advertising / representing Guggenheim Baseball Management.
I guess they have to cover that billion dollar nut somehow. Tax write-off, perhaps?
I still think Chico’s Bail Bonds would have been a better choice.
GO DODGERS!!!

what pisses me off is Saturday nights game will probably be postponed, which means we will miss lance Lynn. Our lineup would devour him, hitting 10 homeruns.

Hernandez with his 2nd homer. 5-0 Dodgers. Despite his 211 Ks, many experts have praised his signing cos he's clutch and his saber stats are better than most. There's still so many saber stats I don't know about or understand, but the ones they pointed out makes it look like signing him was very wise after all. A .258 BA last year isn't so bad after all, including 93 RBIs and a .226 ISO for his career.

THursday, just for fun, I tuned into the A's home opener, with over 13.002 fans in attendance! How's that for fan loyalty? And last nite, their 2nd game, just over 3,004! Moving to Vegas is a brilliant idea. Even if the team is still lousy, they'll get plenty of people buying tickets with all the tourism in Vegas. It has to be out of control violent crime, in addition to the A's being a terrible team.
The city of Oakland is pathetic, much like Detroit. I've driven thru it a few times and there was nothing worth seeing, with decaying and destroyed buildings. What are any tourist spots in Oakland anyhow? At least Detroit has car meuseums and assembly plants to visit. THe city has already lost the Warriors and Raiders.
I attended a game in the summer of '90 when they still had good teams and there were many fans there. THey came back in the 9th to beat the Yanks. AFter the game, I drove straight home to San Clemente, an 8 hour drive. THat was my last stop after visiting SF for 4 days and saw a Gnat game. That was when I saw SF for what it really is, which I already posted about months ago.

And when Austin Powers played, which seemed to be just about every third game, 2/3 of the lineup were under .200, with Betts, Freeman and Outman the only three near or above .300. I’ll take Teo every day over that! GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Homers again Friday Rotowire 19 MINS AGO Betts went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo homer run in Friday's 6-3 win over the Cardinals.
Betts got the Dodgers started early Friday, belting his third home run of the season off Zack Thompson to lead off the bottom of the first inning. The 31-year-old Betts is off to a torrid start this season, going 8-for-14 with four extra-base hits and nine RBI through four games. He looks poised for a massive season while leading off in front of Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman.
Stats 4 HRS AGO Dodgers' Evan Phillips: Grabs second save Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Phillips picked up a save Friday versus the Cardinals, striking out one in a clean inning.
Phillips set down St. Louis in order in the ninth inning, closing out a three-run Los Angeles victory for his second save this year. The 29-year-old right-hander figures to be a steady source of saves this year, holding down the closing job on an elite Dodgers team. Phillips converted 24 of 27 save chances last season, pitching to a 2.05 ERA with a 0.83 WHIP and 66:13 K:BB across 61.1 innings.
Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Smacks first two homers Rotowire 11 HRS AGO Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs and four RBI in Friday's 6-3 win over the Cardinals.
Hernandez cranked his first Dodgers home run off Zack Thompson in the second inning, extending the team's lead to 2-0, before breaking things open with a three-run shot in the fourth. Hernandez has gone 4-for-17 with three extra-base hits through his first four games with Los Angeles. The 31-year-old outfielder slashed .258/.305/.435 with 26 homers and 93 RBI across 625 at-bats for Seattle last season.
Dodgers' Bobby Miller: Strikes out 11 in win Rotowire 11 HRS AGO Miller (1-0) earned the win Friday against the Cardinals, allowing just two hits and a walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out 11.
Miller was superb, striking out 11 of the 21 batters he faced en route to his first win of the campaign. The 24-year-old right-hander impressed as a rookie, going 11-4 with a 3.76 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 119 strikeouts across 22 starts last season. He figures to be a key piece of the Dodgers' rotation again in 2024. Miller's currently in line for a home start versus San Francisco in his next outing.
