I'm in a very small minority but I think he's alright as a manager. At least better than the our dummy in the dugout. But that would mean Houston gets it so no!

He’s Daisy, Sr. and has been handed some of the best teams in the league a number of times, including the aforementioned Reds, the Cubs, Giants, Nationals and now the Astros. I remember both the Cubs & Reds teams as having the best records in the league at least one season he was their manager; not sure about the others, but he did get the Gnats to the WS and same for the Astros last year. There’s just something about him that defies logic and does not allow him and his teams to take that final step and grab that ring. Whether it’s in-game decisions, lack of motivation, under performance by players or some combination of all, he remains title-less. And I hope that continues in 2022. GO PHILLIES!!! |
