I’m really getting sick and tired of EVERYTHING having to be PC so as not to offend 1/1,000,000 of a percent of the nation.
Mrs. Butterworth has disappeared just like Aunt Jemima. Uncle Ben’s has been shortened to just Ben’s. I personally don’t know anyone with the last name Butterworth, but it had to come from somewhere just like every other surname from Adams to Zelinski.
Why did it all of a sudden become offensive or racist?
While Jemima may be directly related and associated to the large black bandannaed Aunt depicted on the label, SO WHAT!?!
Again, this was obviously a person someone knew and / or loved enough to make and name a product after.
The real head scratcher is Uncle Ben’s. How does the word “uncle” suddenly become offensive when associated with instant rice?
I could maybe see Uncle Tom’s due to its usage and relation to blacks, but Uncle Ben’s with a black man on the packaging just doesn’t seem offensive or racist to me.
What’s next? Aunt Millie’s? Dr. Pepper? Mountain Dew? Dairy Queen?
Stay tuned . . .

Speaking of hypocritical advertising, I just saw an animated Nike commercial touting US Soccer player Megan Rapione as an “American hero”.
What a LOAD OF SHIT. She has been highly critical of the US, taken a knee during our National Anthem and recently has been quoted as having “no problem with trannies playing on female teams”.
I’m SURE she doesn’t have a problem now that she’s no longer playing. I guess she forgot all about her national team getting beat by an all male bunch of 15 year olds.
I wonder how she’d feel about showering and sharing a locker room with a dude and his schlong?
American hero? Not even close.
