The all time Dodgers' club record for doubles in a single season is 56 by Johnny Frederick in 1929. Freddie has 35 right now. That's a pace of 56. He's on pace for 24 homers too.

Freddie's doubles pace has slowed considerably. He has 45 right now. His batting hasn't abated though. He sits atop the majors with a .331 batting average. Paul Goldschmidt is second at .322. Trea Turner won a batting title wearing a Dodgers uni. He played most of the season for Washington though. Freeman will be only the second player in Los Angeles Dodgers history with a batting title. Tommy Davis won back to back titles in 1962-63.
