Looks like the Los Angeles DA has FINALLY decided that Bauer will not be charged for any of the accusations put forth by that money grabbing bimbo.
Now, what will Manturd and MLB do? Will he get an ADDITIONAL suspension for 2022 after missing most of 2021? Will the Dodgers accept him back in their fold and rotation?
I say the dude has paid his time and she got exactly what she asked for WITHOUT the big “payoff” we ALL know was behind all of this.
What consenting people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms is their business. If Bauer is a sex freak, I’ll take that every day of the week and twice on Sundays over the cheaters and roiders.
And it’s not like we have a stacked rotation this year. Of course, it’s probably all moot at this point if the greedy bastards (yes - owners & players!) don’t get their shit together soon and end this lockout.
GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Trevor Bauer will not face criminal charges following sexual assault allegation
Steve Gardner, USA TODAY - 1h ago
Prosecutors in Los Angeles have decided not to file criminal charges against Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer due to insufficient evidence, USA TODAY Sports confirmed on Tuesday.
The decision was first reported by the Los Angeles Times, which said the district attorney's office determined that there was not enough to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.
The decision comes after a five-month investigation into allegations by a San Diego woman that Bauer hit and choked her on two occasions during sexual encounters at his home.
However, Bauer could still face discipline from Major League Baseball.
The decision was made after reviewing text messages between Bauer and his accuser, as well as in initial investigation by Pasadena Police and a transcript of a civil restraining order hearing last August.
The woman testified that Bauer choked her unconscious during two sexual encounters in Pasadena in April and May and punched her in the face and vagina during the second encounter. His attorneys cited text messages from her in which she asked him for rough sex, including being choked unconscious and slapped.
She filed a restraining order against Bauer in June, but it was rescinded by a Los Angeles judge two months later.
Bauer, who signed a three-year, $102 million contract with the Dodgers in February 2021, has been on paid administrative leave since July 2.
A decision by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred on Bauer's status isn't expected to be made any time soon with MLB players currently locked out by their teams as the two sides look to reach an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.

I'm assuming the Dodgers know more & will base their decision on that. There doesn't seem to be a way out of his contract.

It's perceived that if there are no criminal charges then there can't be a suspension by MLB since they can't regulate the type of sex that you are into.
To me I'm not sure he beat her up and anally sexed her when she was unconscious. It sounds to me that she knew they were going to get to physical and then she might have told him to stop or didn't say anything and he knocked her unconsicious and then she thought what the hell I'll just try to squeeze him for some money.

He has text where she specifically asked for it. As someone who is on the dating scene, I can tell you that alot of women seem to be into it rough. Not my thing but you would be amazed at how many times it is brought up. This was simply a money grab for her.

I put VERY little faith in ANYTHING Daisy says. He has consistently misdiagnosed “slight” injuries to multiple players in his tenure and his managing blunders are well documented and far too numerous to re-list again here. If Bauer can help this team and solidify the rotation, I don’t give a damn if Roberts and the players “like” him or not. He’s a damn good pitcher who I doubt very seriously Dodger ownership will be willing to eat $25 - $40 million in contract money still owed for this and next year. I would venture to guess that any additional time levied by Manturd and MLB will immediately be appealed by the players union and if they continue this “administrative leave” BS too many more weeks, the union may also step in. GO DODGERS!!!

At least pay his contract.

Manturd with another two week mind fuck of Bauer. I would honestly like to know why the players union and / or Dodgers ownership / management hasn’t stepped in on this and how this commissioner continues to hold his position?
LA is being forced to pay the salary for an innocent, non-convicted or even charged player that this asshat has managed to keep off the field for closing in on a year,
This shit has got to stop.

What I'm confused about since it was a setup and the evidence cleared him with no charges filed. Why in the hell does the dodgers get penalized paying his salary. The MLB should be sued by the players association for his pay and since he wasn't allowed to play then there should be some concessions on his pay being part of the luxury tax. The MLB is determined to make him and the dodgers suffer it's time for the justice system fire those in charge and make restitution for their playing god. He speaks out against issues (sticky substance) allowing him an advantage and it wasn't proven and it started a check system on pitchers hands/gloves/hats etc. The dodgers and Bauer need to stick it to MLB for their over reaching power grabbing decision making.

I keep reading the lunatic fringe on Twitter regarding TB and continue to question just what the hell is going on with this.
A good deal of them feel Bauer is declining meeting with both MLB & the Dodgers because he is still pursuing a libel case against a reporter, her rag newspaper and the lying, money hungry bitch who’s allegations were refuted and dismissed.
Have either the Dodgers or MLB made even a SINGLE effort to interview Bauer? If so, it certainly hasn’t been reported like we know EVERYTHING else has.
They are both “supposedly” still conducting their own internal investigations. What’s left to investigate?
He has denied and been exonerated of her claims and has exposed her to be nothing more than a bitch on wheels trying and succeeding in ruining his reputation.
She has ties to players from a direct divisional competitor that have been exposed via her own cell phone texts.
It appears her motives were not only for what she thought would be a quick out of court money grab, but also the unseating of the Dodgers dominance over the NL West for nearly the last decade and barely costing us our ninth straight title.
In the meantime, Bauer has ZERO incentive to voluntarily meet with either the team or MLB until asked and despite his tweets about getting back in uniform and on the mound, we still have to wonder if the team and fans will welcome him back.
Or will he be a destructive martyr to a clubhouse that currently seems to be clicking on all cylinders?
I’d certainly prefer seeing him back in the rotation as opposed to the three or four innings by Goose followed by whoever’s name Daisy’s dart lands on that day.
And who knows if Heaney will continue to throw zeros up like he has thus far? Kershaw? So far, so good.
But again, it’s only April. And our luck with a steady and constant rotation hasn’t exactly been stellar the last few seasons.
I’m guessing Manturd has already got his Mont Blanc on standby for another administrative leave extension come Friday. SIMPLY RIDICULOUS!!!

I can understand Bauer not wanting to subject himself to another round of 'interviews' (cue hot light). He might have been advised by counsel & has lawyered up. There's nothing to be gained by answering the same tired questions over & over. But if that's the way the pendulum has swung, can't the Dodgers sue Trevor, Manfred or both? One for not fully cooperating & getting back on the field. The other for being a drunken obstructionist. We're losing money here, rummy. DANCE for that quarter! DANCE!
This looks like a total cluster fuck. I really wish we had never signed this asshole.

TWO YEARS? TWO EFFING YEARS? This sounds COMPLETELY biased and personal.
I’m beginning to wonder if this tramp is somehow related to Manturd.
There is something screwed with this and I hope Bauer sues anyone and everyone and gets every penny he asks for as well as a LONG OVERDUE reinstatement.
Perhaps he’ll end up joking Yasiel in Japan.

Platschke with yet another diatribe BS column blaming Bauer for ALL of the Dodgers pitching woes. What a piece of 💩that clown is.
But I do have to wonder what’s going on with this appeal. Has Bauer formally made an appeal and if not, why?
If so, how long is Manturd going to keep drawing this out and either make a decision or allow the case to go to an independent arbitrator?
It’s coming up on an entire year since he’s been on the mound and he’s already paid MORE than his share with a tainted reputation and a team that may or may not welcome him back.
GET ON WITH IT!!!
