Read that, sounds like the fans don’t like him and maybe a few players 👀

NEW JERSEY REAL-TIME SPORTS MLB rumors: Could ex-Yankees manager Joe Girardi replace Phillies' Gabe Kapler? Updated 10:03 AM; Posted 10:00 AM
By Joe Giglio jgiglio@njadvancemedia.com, NJ Advance Media for NJ.com
This didn't take long.
With four losses in six games, booing from home fans, an anonymous player asking the manager to get out of the way and outfielder Nick Williams publicly questioning his playing time, it's been a rough first week for first-year Phillies manager Gabe Kapler.
So much so that sportsbook Bovada LV has already put 10/1 odds on Kapler as the first manager fired this season.
With all that on the docket, The Athletic's Jim Bowden speculated on who could hypothetically replace Kapler if the Phillies did indeed pull the plug on their manager during the season.
The name that stood out to Bowden: Former Yankees skipper Joe Girardi.
After watching Philadelphia Phillies manager Gabe Kapler botch his first series of the year, this could end up being my boldest prediction of them all. I have never witnessed a worse start to a major-league managerial career than what we saw from Kapler.
He acknowledged that Phillies fans have a right to be upset and vowed to make adjustments moving forward. If he doesn't, it won't surprise anyone if Joe Girardi is managing this team by the All-Star break.
Bowden did go on to write that he expects Kapler to figure it out and for the Phillies to contend this season.
But the thought--echoed by Bowden's teammate Ken Rosenthal--is out there: Kapler has found his way onto the hot seat faster than almost any manager in history. If it continues, Girardi's name could surface in more speculation.
Girardi, coming off a 10-year run with the Yankees, is currently sitting out the season and doing television work until his next opportunity. The 2009 World Series winner owns a 988-794 career record as a skipper, including a surprise trip to the ALCS with last year's Yankees.

Glad this clown never got the job. Scary enough, this is who Friedman wanted to hire in the first place, but ownership apparently didn't approve, thankfully. Some of the things I read about the guy really turned me off, especially the sun tanning of a certain area of the body. Would like to see Roberts improve in some areas, but will absolutely take him over Kapler any day.
