Hi all. hope everyone is enjoying the start of the season even though the team is off to a rough start. I just wanted to take some time and make a couple of announcements even through most of you probably already know. For starters, most of you have noticed that I am not a frequent poster on these boards. This is my busy season at work and I was just informed I will be traveling a bit more. That said, my time here will be limited. That being the case, I have delegated authority to BornBrooklyn and Bluenashaun. Both of these fine gentleman will be here to deal with any issues. One thing is for certain..... we will never resort to e-begging or try to solicit funds from our members. This forum was FREE and was created for ALL of you!That said, we are open to suggestions and debate.
In the mean time, have fun, feel free to start threads and let us know if there are any boards you would like us to create. I like the PGA thread and if it needs its own subboard, please let us know. A kings one might not be a bad idea either.

The Kings one sounds good. Any soccer fans here? Maybe a Galaxy sub-form would be nice. The NFL thread has more or less become about the Raiders. The Rams are looking mighty fine too.

Really, this is the way it should be, it may not be full impregnable given the state of BOT's and hacking tactics ala Facebook woes, but it does add a layer of defense and keeps this community for the community and somewhat gated.

Good idea. Someone lobbed a hand grenade in here the other day & left. It could have been a sniffer bot...that crawls internet pre programmed and looking for forms, once found, who ever owns it can push whatever info or, propaganda they want to push. Guys...besides, "word of mouth", how are people finding this place? |

I see, yeah I know if it weren't for BB1954 I'd wouldn't have known, I think we have a good deal of the complement of members here and just eyeballing the roster about 50 / 60 plus or so. Oh, if that was a Internet BOT of some kind, then you might want to delete the Thread all together, as it could monitor and record internets hits, then simply rename it, and reinstate it, as there was nothing wrong with the topic, per say, just how it got there. |
