Hello everyone, don't know about rest of you but the FO has surely dropped the ball on shoring up the bullpen. Letting Morrow walk & thinking they'd strike gold & results with Koehler was a joke to me. Now already we went from I believe the best bullpen last year IMO, for the worst this year. It's easier for me to say who I believe should be on roster & in the bullpen, Jensen, Fields, Stripling & maybe Baez & Cingrani if we had a lights-out lefty.
The rest are GARBAGE from other teams! Font, Alexander, Chargois, Neal, WHO are these bums, I'm not even mentioning the ones like Paredes, Baker & Liberatore.
We basically have the same roster as last year, but why the FO is PENNY PINCHING bullpen arms will doom us with the way the starters barely give us 6 innings. By no means do I want Buehler to wear his arm out, but FO neglect & to use other teams cast offs was not smart. I know it's early & the skies not falling but after last years using of Morrow & Jensen for 9 outs, you think the FO woulda shelled out some dough for a better plan & stronger & longer bridge until Jensen. Was disappointed when we didn't get lefty Andrew Miller & even more so not re-signing Morrow & adding another stud!

I was critical of the bullpen moves in spring training and the offseason but so far there is zero to complain about in that department other than Jansen. Hopefully he is truly healthy and the issue is mechanical. |
