Was going through some old emails & found this one to my daughter in 2013.
El Puig would be insulted that you even question his greatness. Before he left Cuba he told Fidel Castro how to run the country better. Flies don't drown in his soup. They watch from a respectful distance. He thought going to the bathroom was demeaning, so he has someone else do it for him. He thought about having children, but decided that was too much pressure to put on them. Opposing pitchers just drop the ball & award him a homer. As a child, he once hit a ball so hard his friend is still chasing it. His buddy was last sighted in Brazil. All of America is going to have to learn Spanish because El Puig prefers it that way. The Dodgers carry a black hole on their roster because El Puig likes him...
Did someone else write that? Or I had a couple & just can't remember? I remember we used to try & outdo each other on comparing Puig to the most interesting man in the world.
Btw - Yasiel isn't playing this year. Cleveland granted him free agency & it looks like no one else signed him. His career might be over & he's not even 30. He's not overly bright & couldn't have anticipated being out of work. Hope he doesn't wind up broke.
