This hurts worse than the Houston series. Why can’t DDF II ever seem to learn from his previous mistakes? Kershaw should have never gotten a second inning. Kenta should have been in for at LEAST two innings.
Kelly looked great in the ninth, but he’s shown this before and has sucked out loud in his second inning of work in previous attempts to get more than an inning out of him.
Such a freaking shame that one of the best teams in the league will be watching instead of playing in the World Series.
GO DODGERS!!!

Goodbye Dave! Losing this series is actually a blessing in disguise. Now we might actually get a real manager. We weren't winning a world series with Dave Roberts at the helm.

Daisy is the PERFECT “yes man” to the upper ups. He follows directions like a well trained guard dog. And they’ll point to his division titles and the postseason appearances every year since he got the job. Looking forward to NCAA basketball! GO DODGERS!!!

Pollock finalizes his K total for the series. And Doolittle is looking like Nolan Ryan tonight.

Management don’t care about winning a championship. They’re printing money, win or lose they’re getting richer. Roberts will be here next season, I’d bet on that.

Normally, I don't like how he handles the pitching, but pulling Ferris when he did was the right move. Kershaw is a vet pitcher and he blew Ferris' brilliant game and cost him a win. Therefore, correction: we're not winning any world series with Kershaw on the team. He looked the worst I've ever seen him, and he had some bad outings this past year. But down thru his career, he's proven he's not a post season pitcher. He's so often compared to Sandy Koufax, and rightfully so. Koufax was brilliant in the WS, at a time when there were 10 teams and no divisions. Who's to blame for him having to retire at 30? Walter Alston, who pitched him over 300 innings for at least three years. So what's Kershaw's excuse? Probably wear and tear on his arm going all the way back to high school. During the regular season, though he had some great outings, he also made himself look like a bush leaguer. I know Kelly is the losing pitcher and rightfully so, but it was looking like a low scoring game. How did Kelly pitch a brilliant 8th and then do a 180 in the 10th? Roberts is not to blame for this loss.

Maeda should have started the next inning. Everyone but Roberts seems to have known that. Left him in after allowing a homer. Kershaw ain’t taking himself out. Roberts is completely at fault for this loss IMHO!!!

Roberts is not to blame for this loss. Got to disagree on the fact that Roberts isn't to blame. I agree with you that it was the right call to pull Beuhler when he did and I don't have a probably bringing Kershaw in to get the last out, but it's downright STUPID to leave Kershaw in the game when the heart of the order is coming up. What's wrong with Maeda or May or any of the other guys in the bullpen? Our bullpen was not overtaxed this series. This is Roberts trying to create some headlines rather than win the game. I'm willing to bet he had it running through his head "Dominant Kershaw closes out NLDS" or some dumb shit like that. Roberts has been making boneheaded decisions since he arrived. How do you not win a world series with back to back to back great/elite teams? That's 100% on the manager. Sure some players were slumping and not hitting, but this team has so much offensive hitting talent that it shouldn't matter.

I will not call vassegh again because it would come off as me crowing about a Dodger defeat. I'm depressed.

Sure some players were slumping and not hitting, but this team has so much offensive hitting talent that it shouldn't matter. Kershaw is a vet pitcher who should know how to pitch to good hitters in any situation. I'd understand Roberts pulling May or Gonsolin, but Kershaw should've been up to the task. We'll see what a season he has in '20 with his confidence shot like that. And we all complain ad infinitum ad nauseum of how Roberts handles the pitching, but many more times it's for pulling pitchers too soon rather than too late. I'd love to see Honeycutt visiting the mound more than Roberts. If only we could have Tommy Lasorda back.

Roberts is completely at fault for this loss IMHO!!! Totally. He had a plethora of arms in the bullpen to use. He let Kershaw fail again. Kershaw should have come out after the 6th and DEFINITELY should have come out after the HR to Rendon.
