I just want eleven more in October. Call me greedy, I don’t care. This year needs to end in champagne and beer being sprayed in a few weeks.
My weekend bag is already packed. LA, Houston or Tampa Bay are preferred. I’m afraid NY is going to be out of our budget, so I’ll shed no tears if they exit early.

Decades ago the ex sent our daughter to New York to visit relatives. Naturally Mr. Pockets was supposed to supply spending money. A 15 year old girl burned through $500 within days. I sent another $300. After that, ask your mother.

I sent another $300. After that, ask your mother. Back in the mid-80’s, I worked in (for Bulldog 😝) Long Island for around a month and headed into Manhattan every chance I got. I pretty much had an unlimited and open expense account and after finally taking the smokin’ hot office receptionist into going out with me I dropped close to a grand in a single night. Front row balcony tickets for Cats, dinner at Sardi’s, champagne and strawberries in a horse drawn carriage thru Central Park. Company didn’t bat an eye. GO DODGERS!!! |
