Rut row, Shaggy! Mahomes goes down with an injury to his right knee. NFL Network reporting knee was “popped back into place”. Had the same thing happen to me back in the day playing softball when stretching out an infield hit having the first base bag “slide” just as my left foot impacted it. Knee hyperextended and popped so loud they heard it all the way on our third base bench. Got carried off; popped it back in. Had a couple beers; drove to a friends house (with a manual five speed); had pizza, a few more beers and a couple Vics before heading home. Woke up the next morning with a knee the size of a bowling ball. Tore both the ACL & MCL; laser surgery two days later and eight months of heavy rehab three days a week. Hope Mahomes injury doesn’t end up as bad as mine. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone. GO DODGERS!!! They're predicting only three weeks out for Mahomes. That's pretty hard to believe. |

I think that’s simply for the bookies and Vegas. They don’t want to lose one of their Super Bowl favorites with another three full months of betting available. And if they bring him back that soon, they’re REALLY taking an unnecessary chance on future and substantially greater damage. Having “been there / done that”, I’m betting there may be damage that didn’t show on the MRI due to swelling, fluids, etc. And as great of an athlete and the excellent shape he keeps himself in, it has to be a 1,000 to 1 shot a kneecap can dislodge, come off and then “pop” back into place without SOMETHING tearing. GO DODGERS!!! |

Read the Kansas City Star & apparently Mahomes wants to come back right away. Hopefully the Chiefs rein that in. No one wants to see a generational talent ruined.

Both my teams won total nail biters. KC won a squeaker vs. the Raiders, 40-9. Rams edge the Cardinals 34-7. A combined 74-16. You can imagine my anxiety...

WOW!!! Still very early, but could we be looking at an all wildcard AFC Championship game? Kinda saw it coming in the Ravens game, but not in KC.
Does Mahomes have another big comeback in him? Just over 45 minutes to find out.

I was just going by what I heard the two Fox knuckleheads say during the broadcast yesterday.
