If you're going to call a guy a liar on this board, then either produce or apologize. "OK,fine doesn't cut it. Not at all what I said. Please don't invent quotes for me. i said "if you were joking" I didn't know. Is that what you were doing???

Here's the real quote:
"My bad for that, if you were just joking."
Ok, "my bad". is meaningless now, really thought that was an apology.... only contingent on him just joking and me totally misinterpreting.

Dude, if you were joking with me and I misinterpreted the whole thing, then I am sorry. Thought you were defending the dumb comment by CK about long hitters NOT having the advantage at Augusta. That it was more important to place the ball and hit it in the right spots.
Now that's what I was saying the first time when I said, "My Bad, ...if u were joking".
You take his side most of the time.

Ok, fine. The CK comes on, calls Spieth a short hitter, you respond to that and made a seemingly sarcastic comment to me about how daly would have one all of them of it's all about long hitters and put two and two together. I'm sure now that you realize that hitting the ball 298 is not being a "short hitter". My bad for that, if you were just joking. They ALL HIT IT BIG, relative to us, even the "short guys", because of the technology. They all can crank it 300. You don't get it. Spieth is #78, 20 yards behind the leaders. He's shorter relative to them, he's not one of the big boys. So were the guys I mentioned who won it, they hit long but were not among the longest then, in their time. You look at everything in black and white from your own personal perspective thinking it's infallible. You act like a know it all on everything, unbelievable.

You are dead wrong about that. Here are the old guys you mentioned, and average driving distance. Vijay 289 Lyle 279 Olazabal 270 Couples 297 Langer 282 And Speith is 10 yards from the Top 15 or 20 in the world. He hits it just fine off the tee, and long. Not a "short hitter" in any shape, way or form. You are wrong again.

Look for nuance, study how it's measured, besides this source, and look back into the past. And, yes they can hit it 300, I can hit it 275+, and I'm 64. They let off and keep it in play. You ever watched them at the driving range. A whole different world. www.golfchannel.com/video/statistically-speaking-how-driving-distance-really-measured/

Your semantics game is so predictable.
Langer averages 282. Speith averages 298. Night and Day.
The old guys don't stand a chance to win at Augusta. The course is too long for them. Period. End of story.
And I highly doubt you can hit it 275+ consistently. You might get lucky every now and then with some roll and some wind. You're talking to a guy who plays over 100 rounds a year and plays at a pretty high level. I don't know a single person who can do that. I know a lot of people who say they can though. It's just comical

Vijay and Freddy are plenty long enough, close to Spieth, and they've all won it. But you can't see it.
