Here in Socal, it's drought conditions normally and some courses take a beating, we ain't country clubbing generally, sometimes. Tree roots on the surface, hard-pan, clumpy chunks in the rough, patches of dirt in some fairways, really thin fairways often, can really make it unfair, too penalizing at times. Courses look nothing like Augusta!!! lol These aren't USGA events. makes sense then if conditions aren't great... here's just a couple pics at my place.

You sure thats all it is? I went a year and a half with a torn rotator cuff that was being shredded by bone spurs before I finally had an MRI. Missed this, Puigger. Shoulder/joints are fine, strong no pain. It's definitely a pinched nerve in the neck, tightens up a bit after a bad round. Was hitting from the top, trying to pound it when hadn't been playing much. Gotta swing, not hit. Pain goes away, though neck stays a bit stiff. Oughta see a chiropractor I suppose, no big deal. I think of it as a swing aid, swing properly, no pain. Besides, considering what you've gone through, I'm not willingly subjecting myself to that kind of pain/long rehab.

This week The Wells Fargo Championship, a tuneup for The Players Championship and The Memorial later this month. A strong field this week, Rory, Justin Thomas, Rickie, Tiger Woods .......

A couple guys I neglected to list in this week's strong field, Jason Day and Phil "The Thrill" Mickelson, are at/near top of the leaderboard going into the final round. Day at -10 has two shot lead over Nick Watney. Phil is at -5 in 10th place. I look for Day to run away with it. He's had some health issues but was #1 in the world not that long ago, he can dominate.
Others: Rickie -4, Patrick Reed Masters champ -4, Rory -3, Justin Thomas and Tiger at -1. Dark horse - Paul Casey -7 not far back and can go very low, gets red hot, the putter.

Day wins by 2 at -12 (2nd win this calendar year I believe), Watney and Aaron Wise 2nd, 2 shots back. Phil was a "Thrill" with 7 birds, 5 bogeys, 6 pars, at -7, tied 5th. Rory at -3, Justin and Rickie at -2. Tiger hacked shot 74 finished at +2, tied 55th.
Next week "The 5th Major", The Players Championship. Yeah, the island green tourney. .

He is awesome, and pushing 50. Hope he gets a major this year, or even The Players Champ. at least. His game is in top form. Man, there's a lot of stiff competition, homegrown and foreign.
