Fun tournament to watch. Like I said the old guys didn't have a chance but they played well. Good for them.
Happy for Reed, I want Rickie to get his, he's a good guy too.
I'll be working the US Open at Shinnecock as my Club members volunteered for one hole. Don't know which one yet. Looking forward to it.

He seems like a really nice guy. They don't finish last, they win The Masters. Good. Interesting enough, I googled his name and read an article on how disliked he is. Wow, that's weird. Seemed like a lot of people were happy for him. I guess a lot weren't as well

He played great.
One thing I didn't like this week was Rahm's temper. I know he's young but he has to grow up. I am certain he will be counseled on that.

Of course they'll probably lengthen the course to over 8,000 yards by then. lolol. I wonder what these current guys would do with the equipment pre 1995? #13 today was a par 4 actually, everyone hit it in two with the exception of a couple. Gotta say, Jack would've killed them today. Jack at the Masters was special. The article specify what Reed does to piss 'em off??

Just google his name and scroll down....there are a number of articles about it. He was accused of cheating in college and theft, among other things. Surprising accusations. Wow, too bad. Doesn't need to steal anymore, huh? Nike took him in, interesting. He seems pretty calm and open, sure focused, now.

Ehh, the guys I play with cheat all the time. lolol. Improving lies in the rough, I gotta start :). one guy marks his ball and then replaces it an inch or more closer a lot. Dude still can't putt, never gets it there anyway!!!! lolololol. His talk I don't mind, I remeber him saying he was "top 5". Where's he been??? NOW he has something to talk about but that's bush, win a lot more and shut up. Show some class. Theft, hmmm. Seems his teammates no less. Sounds overblown, guy's just a big mouth/cocky.

Okay, I improve my lie in the rough if it's impossible, but I ask, usually :). I don't play courses with rough like Augusta, I get clumps and dirt, yesterday I played a course with seriously bad lies in the rough. Had to play it down, costly. lololol.

You don't use a foot wedge? Not much actually, standing rule in club and $$ matches is can move it the fairway, as it lies in the rough. I'm lobbying for winter rules everywhere, we're mostly old. I can hurt myself just swinging!!! lololol

The article specify what Reed does to piss 'em off?? I saw some stuff I didn't know. He was thrown off of one college team. Reports of cheating, not getting along with teammates, etc. Reed said it was an alcohol thing. He had similar reports at Augusta State. Other things like he is estranged from his parents. His wife had them thrown off the course at a tournament (US OPen?), claims the parents abused Patrick when he was younger. A lot of stuff.

Not that it matters, just as long as everyone plays the same rules.

Here in Socal, it's drought conditions normally and some courses take a beating, we ain't country clubbing generally, sometimes. Tree roots on the surface, hard-pan, clumpy chunks in the rough, patches of dirt in some fairways, really thin fairways often, can really make it unfair, too penalizing at times. Courses look nothing like Augusta!!! lol These aren't USGA events.
