He wasn't terrible. Contact against him was soft, but his control is bothersome.....the walks (only 1 this time) and the attempted pitch to outer space is a white knuckle ride.

I think his worst pitch is his 100 mph 4 seam fastball cause it is so straight. I don't know why he just didn't stick with what worked for him in the post season last year to begin with. He has scratched the 4 seamer and is now going with a 2 seamer. |

Being that Cervelli has given up on catching if I were the Dodgers I'd offer Ruiz, Gonsolin, Joc, and maybe something else to the Pirates for Felipe Vazquez, maybe that'll take. But I'd wouldn't give up 2 of the top 4 like it has been reported. I want to keep Lux, May, and Smith is already up. |
