Just like no one expected Cody Bellinger to bat .400 for the season, no one really expected Corey Seager to bat .230 either.
Since May 12th, Corey is hitting 24 / 79 = .304-6-22 / .371 / .633 in 20 games. 8 doubles.

Good point. Corey is back!! I knew he was showing signs of life. Was a bit surprised he's averaging better than an RBI a game.

2 out of 4 for Corey last night. Unfortunately the rest of the boys took a big fat dump against a dude with a seven plus ERA and two wins against four losses. Big waste of another excellent start by Kershaw. Taylor missing that pop up didn’t help matters, but playing field bullpens are so bush league, they should be outlawed in ALL stadiums. Leave it to the halloweenies to use them as an “advantage” in their stupid park. GO DODGERS!!!

Corey has gone 6-9 since that last update. That makes him 30-87 / .345-6-26 / .402 / .667 in his last 22 games. .270-8-38 / .353 / .465 over all. A .115 OPS+.

Dodgers' Corey Seager: Leads hit parade in win
Rotowire 40M ago
Seager went 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBI in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Giants.
The Giants were determined not to let Cody Bellinger beat them, walking the Dodgers' cleanup hitter three times in five plate appearances, but Seager picked up the slack from the five hole. The shortstop has banged out four straight multi-hit efforts, but he's been hot for a lot longer than that -- Seager is now slashing .330/.392/.637 over his last 24 games with six homers and 26 RBI.

I wonder why they list the two games before that. He went a combined 0-6 in those two contests. I started with a 5 RBI game.

Dodgers' Justin Turner: Breaks out against GIants
Rotowire 36M ago
Turner went 3-for-3 with a walk, two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Giants.
The 34-year-old is still nursing a sore hamstring and looked limited on the basepaths -- at least one of the doubles could have been stretched into a triple had Turner been running at 100 percent -- but he still delivered his first extra-base hits since missing three games May 30-June 1 due to the issue. He's now slashing .312/.397/.450 with six homers and 27 RBI through 57 games on the year.

Dodgers' Corey Seager: Homers in return to lineup Rotowire Sep 28, 2019
Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a victory over the Giants on Friday.
Seager sat out Thursday's game with a tight hamstring but was back in the lineup Friday, drilling a solo shot to right field in the second inning. The shortstop is ending the regular season on a high note with a .304/.337/.646 slash line, seven homers and 23 RBI in September.
