Jeff Passan of ESPN reporting that Urias is to be reinstated and while the case is still being investigated, looks to be another “much ado about nothing”.
MLB hasn’t even seen the video from the parking garage and it does not appear that they have even requested a copy of it.
LAPD has yet to file formal charges.
As I previously stated, looks like someone or some # group will be getting a nice cheque and all is forgiven.
GO DODGERS!!!

I hope for Julio's sake that when the recordings (& their were witnesses recording it too) are released he's in the clear. Otherwise he'll be crucified unmercifully. This one seems a little more complicated than Puig's slap.

Dodgers: Julio Urias Set to Rejoin the Dodgers in Tampa Bay by Michael Wittman 1 hour ago Follow @wittman7
Today, Julio Urias is reportedly going to be taken off administrative leave for the Dodgers. The situation should become more clear when an official announcement is made.
Julio Urias is going to be taken off administrative leave today according to reports. The move could be good news for the Dodgers if it is announced that Julio did not harm the woman involved in the incident. It’s important to note that this doesn’t mean Julio will not face punishment, he is just being taken off administrative leave.
ESPN’s Jeff Passan followed up the report by stating that MLB was unable to obtain the video footage showing exactly what occurred. Due to this, the investigation is still ongoing but Julio is set to rejoin the team in Tampa Bay. It’s important to note that by MLB rules the Dodgers can not punish Urias on their own, or keep him from rejoining the team.
According to MLB’s bargaining agreement, a player may be placed on administrative leave for up to seven days. The leave can be extended for up to an additional seven days. Any discipline that is handed out to the player usually happens immediately following the period of administrative leave. Meaning if Julio is going to face any type of punishment, it should be announced in the near future. On May 14th, MLB placed Julio on administrative leave while they conducted an investigation into the domestic violence incident. As expected, there were no comments from the Dodgers or any of the staff as little was known about what occurred. Once the findings of the investigation are released, there will likely be another statement from the Dodgers.
If Urias is free of any wrongdoing, the Dodgers will gladly welcome him back onto the roster. Prior to his leave, Julio was fulfilling a hybrid setup reliever/multi-inning relief role similar to the role Josh Hader fills in Milwaukee. The Dodgers will continue to utilize Julio’s talents out of the bullpen until they are able to insert him into the rotation without ant restrictions for the rest of the season.
Hopefully, Julio learns from this and tries to avoid any more publicity of the wrong type. Not only is it a bad look for Julio but it is also a bad look for the Dodgers and Major League Baseball to make the headlines for the wrong reasons like this.

That's a lot of doubletalk.
"If Urias is free of any wrongdoing, the Dodgers will gladly welcome him back onto the roster."
How can they gladly welcome him back when the investigation hasn't even been concluded yet? If an outlet like TMZ gets ahold of a recording that incriminates Julio, will the Dodgers take back their glad tidings?

Yes, a lot of double talk.
"Hopefully, Julio learns from this and tries to avoid any more publicity of the wrong type."
Well if there was no wrongdoing then is there anything to learn from?

The first run is charged to Kershaw. Pedro pays the price though.

6-3 Dodgers. The bullpen can't sweep that one under Kershaw's rug.

Pedro Baez exits after taking liner off leg
By Dawn Klemish @sportsgal25 an hour ago
ST. PETERSBURG -- Dodgers reliever Pedro Báez lasted just two pitches into his outing on Tuesday night against the Rays before taking a line drive off his right leg. He was diagnosed with a right upper leg contusion.
The right-hander had just entered the game in place of starter Clayton Kershaw, who'd secured one out in the seventh inning before allowing a single and a double to put runners at second and third.
Baez's first pitch to Willy Adames was a ball, but Adames connected hard on the following offering, sending the ball screaming up the middle at 103 mph, per Statcast, and off Baez's knee. The knock sent Baez toppling to the ground to his left, allowing Daniel Robertson to score from third with Tampa Bay's first run of the game.
Baez remained on the field for several moments as team trainers attended to him, then was helped off the field. There was no immediate word on his condition.
He was replaced by Scott Alexander with one out in the bottom of the seventh.

Pedro Baez dodges serious injury from line drive X-rays come back negative on reliever, who has right leg contusion

ST. PETERSBURG -- Dodgers reliever Pedro Báez survived a scare Tuesday night when X-rays came back negative after he was struck by a line drive in the seventh inning against the Rays.
He was diagnosed with a right upper leg contusion, and the Dodgers will monitor daily how the injury responds to treatment.
Baez lasted just two pitches into his outing during Los Angeles’ 7-3 win against the Rays. The right-hander had just entered the game in place of starter Clayton Kershaw and inherited runners at second and third with no outs.
Baez's first pitch to Willy Adames was a ball, but Adames connected hard on the following offering, sending the ball screaming up the middle at 102.8 mph, per Statcast, and off Baez's knee. The knock sent Baez toppling to the ground to his left, allowing Daniel Robertson to score from third with Tampa Bay's first run of the game.
“I definitely thought it was a fracture because it hit so hard, but luckily, the X-rays came back negative, and now it's waiting for the day-to-day process to see how I feel,” Baez said through a translator.
The crack of rawhide meeting the outside of Baez’s leg near his knee was loud enough to be heard around the stadium and on the televised broadcast, and it made several of his teammates wince.
“The ball came off the bat pretty hot,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “Where it hit him, and just how it ricocheted back toward the dugout, yeah, I was holding my breath.”

I would expect Pedro to go on the 10 day IL. Who will they call up?
