Mine has to be Popeye's Fried Chicken. That stuff has to be a cholesterol nightmare. So darn tasty though.

Mine would probably still have to be the original Golden Arches. Two plain cheeseburgers, a large fry and a large sweet tea and jr’s a happy boy. GO DODGERS!!!

Don’t have those here in Cincy, but we do have Chipotle & their burrito with chicken & steak is one of my favs. Unfortunately, I like it more than it likes my stomach. And their hot salsa is brutal the “second time around”. GO DODGERS!!!

Is it just me or was the old Quarter Pounder with Cheese (frozen pattie) better than the new one cooked fresh? The meat seems to have a different flavour, and not in a good way to me.
GO DODGERS!!!

Haven’t been back in well over a year. GO DODGERS!!! Nowadays they'd claim you had coronavirus & call the police, instead of just admitting their food stinks. That reminds me of earlier today. Saw a squad car, reached a traffic signal, & felt like cutting across a gas station lot to save time. The guy in front of me obviously wasn't going to turn. My brother had told me to be careful. That cops had nothing better to do during this hysteria than screw with people. But would they really? Seems like they would want less contact too. I cut across the lot with the thought firmly in mind that if I get pulled over I'll start coughing violently. Sure enough, that cop didn't bother pursuing me. Something else occured to me watching people with surgical masks on. What a great time to be an armed robber. Surgical mask, dark glasses & a baseball cap. No one would even look twice. Yeah. I think like that.

Was just watching channel 1 out here. Public service stuff. It's Black Restaurant Week? When did that come into being? Dad trained us to drink hot sauce by a very early age. I've worked clubs where black people try to break me with spicy "soul food." Really? We used to call this "dinner." Soul food, eh? Interesting. Note to self - bring extra hot sauce to soul food parties.

Back when Monday Night Football was must see TV, we’d go to a friends house and our goal every week was to outdo the hot sauce for wings from the previous week. There was one batch we came up with one week that, I kid you not, actually ate a hole into the Tupperware we were mixing it up in. Imagine what that did to our stomach linings. His wife banned us from coming over after that week. It was her fav Tupperware bowl. I still like hot stuff, but as I grow older it takes a little longer to recover than when we were young and stupid and those “exits” become more and more painful as well as frequent. GO DODGERS!!!

I go to the bathroom a lot the next day. Otherwise - meh.

Did I mention being disappointed by In-N-Out? Wow! What is the deal with this franchise? An NBA player's wife steered me towards this. What a train wreck.

Did I mention being disappointed by In-N-Out? Wow! What is the deal with this franchise? An NBA player's wife steered me towards this. What a train wreck. No In-And-Outs around these parts and I’ve never had one in all my trips out that way. I’ve heard mixed reviews on them with some saying they’re “the best” and others saying “they suck”. There a place in the Roosevelt in Hollywood that makes a great burger and fries - been there a couple of times, including last time out for the 2018 WS. Jack In The Box opened a joint up in West Chester just a little north of where we live a couple few years ago. Tried it not long after they opened - didn’t think too much of their burgers or fries. Five Guys makes a decent burger and LOVE their fresh cut fries, especially when they pour all the extras into the bag on top of the container. Plus they’re one of the few places that has Pibb on their fountain, which I can’t get enough of. Red Robin also makes a pretty decent burger. Same with Wahlburgers. We’ve got a couple of local places that blow the “nationals” out of the water, though. The Turf Club and Zip’s Cafe. Turf Club is a good half pounder with an entire page in the menu just for every cheese made and topping you could possibly think of, including lobster! Good fresh cut fries as well. Zip’s offers a smaller burger (I usually get two doubles with cheese) and excellent shoestring fries (two large orders of those). Really good flavour to their burgers, too. GO DODGERS!!!

You know, the more I eat out the more I like my own cooking. My home fries come with seasoned salt, black pepper & cayenne pepper. My burgers come with the same, plus jalapeno peppers, pepper jack cheese, bleu cheese & thousand island dressing. A slice of tomato & some red onion. I go out & it's like - what the fuck? I'm paying you for what?

Or I might decide to go BBQ style & have baked beans & macaroni & cheese.
Once again - what the fuck do I need you for?
