Matt Kemp – Atlanta Braves Aside from two MVP-caliber seasons in 2009 and ’11, Kemp has been a very unspectacular player. He’s shown he doesn’t care much about being an athlete, having packed on some serious mass around the midsection. Kemp is only 32, but runs like he’s 60. Sure, he managed to hit 35 homers and collect 108 RBI last season, but he did that with a .304 OBP (yuck) and one of the worst defensive ratings in baseball. In other words, Kemp’s game likely won’t age very gracefully. 17. Dee Gordon – Miami Marlins Dee Gordon is fast. Dee Gordon is flashy. Dee Gordon is the son of former closer Tom Gordon. These three facts combine to make him a more visible, exciting player than most. However, these characteristics are a bit misleading. Gordon is essentially a great base-stealer who hit .300 once whilst playing perplexingly mediocre defense. You’d think the speed would play up in the field, but the numbers show that it hasn’t. One would also think he’d compensate for his lack of power (10 career HR) with some patience at the plate. This hasn’t been the case — as Gordon’s 4.7% career walk rate is sinfully bad for a would-be lead-off hitter.

Hoping to see Bryce Harper join this list in a few years. It takes a special kind of idiot to reject $180,000,000 over four years in a great city like LA and opt for $330,000,000 for 13 years in a 💩hole like Philadelphia.
Not to mention when was the last time Philly won six straight division titles and / or went to the World Series two years in a row? His signing there doesn’t make them THAT much better.
GO DODGERS!!!

Yeah, his 1.3 WAR last year just doesn't add up to $330 million.
Career WAR is 27.4 over 7 seasons. That's 3.9 per year. His MVP year in 2015 was 10.0.
For a little perspective, Cody Bellinger had a WAR of 4.2 last year.

And Bells had a bit of a sophomore slump as opposed to his rookie season. I say good money saved by the LA brass. We’ll be just fine without Bryce. GO DODGERS!!!
