Any thoughts?Unlike the first fight, i really think that this one was a draw. Canelo just doesn't live up to past great Mexican fighters. Barerra Moral and Chavez would beat both these guys.

I just can't get into boxing anymore. Bklyn_LA & I had that discussion. It peaked in the 1970's & 80's. Then it had it's moments in the 1990's. The new millennium has overall been a crashing bore. When fighters routinely not only hang on in boxing, but hang on to some sort of title well into their 40's, you know the competition has weakened considerably.
Savage as it sounds too, the safety precautions (lesser rounds, quicker stoppages) has watered it down. Football & hockey players were not only exposed to unnecessary dangers, but actually encouraged to engage in them & play through them. They didn't know all the risks they took. Any punch drunk boxer could tell an aspiring youth on sight about the dangers associated with their sport. So they pretty much know they're selling their souls.
