WOW, sock it to me again Andrew Friedman. Once again instead of doing your work before the season or MLB deadline, you reach for players such as Madson & Freese, OMG COM'ON. The real need was before season started & you wouldn't have to reach for these DESPERATE MOVES!!!
Your grasping for Madson to be a set up guy & WHERE IN THE HILL is Freese gonna fit in when you have guys YOU CAN'T GET PLAYING TIME FOR, UN-F'IN-BELIEVABLE!!!
This is the major league not the senior citizens league!!!

Our farm is still very strong, with Verdugo chomping at the bit to replace Puig in RF. And it was about 7 or 8 farmhands that landed both Machado and Dozier, so stop caterwauling. |

Your delusional if you think this bullpen including Jansen is gonna do anything in playoffs!!! Hey, 4 years in a row is awesome, but the reality is not this year, hope we re-sign Manny (makes hitting look easy) & time for Puig to change scenery! Kemp having a very good year & series past weekend (give him props) but we're not gonna beat playoff teams especially Astros 3-2 all the time. Great fast ball hitting team we are but we'll see plenty of change ups to lefties. |

Freese wound up hitting .385-2-9 / .489 / .641 in 47 plate appearances in the regular season for the Dodgers. .300-1-5 in 12 plate appearances through the first two rounds of this year's playoffs. He went 2 for 3 tonight.
Madson allowed 1 earned run in 6.1 innings of this year's postseason before tonight. The runs he allowed tonight were rightfully charged to Kershaw.
Pretty safe to say our front office did it's due diligence.

Freese wound up batting .417-1-1 / .500 / .833 in the World Series. He had a triple too. He hit .364-2-6 / .423 / .773 in the postseason.
Now Madson was another matter.
