Schedule is favorable, need to take care of business these next 2 days for sure though. After that we have SD for 3, at Arizona for 3 and at SF for 3. Colorado has at Arizona for 3, vs. Philly for 4 and vs. Wash for 3. They may miss Nola vs. Philly but they should see Scherzer the last weekend. I said going into St. Louis take every series and we get to 90 wins which I agree with you wins us our 6th straight division. Doc playing the “lineup” game again tonight with Kersh pitching. Lot of scrubs - let’s hope they’re up to the task. GO DODGERS!!!

Tonite we have our hands full: though the D-backs have been in a big slump, they have Robbie Ray going against Kershaw. Ray is hot! His last three starts have been great, allowing but 4 ER in 17 IP. Overall, his ERA is 3.92. Kershaw just isn't Kershaw anymore. Though his ERA is 2.45 (high for him), his last three starts his ERA is 2.84, though still great. He's not blowing hitters away like he's been known for, but he seems to be getting outs via finesse. It should be a good matchup. Ray has allowed 17 HR in only 115 IP and 63 walks. Our hitters lead in both catagories. Kershaw has allowed 16 HR in 150 IP. I predict a 7-2 Dodger win. The Rockies aren't making it easy for us to clinch the division. They just swept the D-Backs and unless we sweep them also and the Phillies sweep the Rockies, the scenario I feared could happen: a showdown in SF, who'd just love to be the spoiler. It might continue to be a nail-biter to the bitter end!

We're all lucky he's smart.
