Dodgers' Kyle Farmer: Recalled from Triple-A

Farmer was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times
Farmer had a rough 30-game stint with the Dodgers earlier in the season in which he recorded a .230/.304/.279 batting line in 69 plate appearances. He has five doubles and three homers in 22 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, but don't expect Farmer to get much run barring an injury to Dodgers catchers Yasmani Grandal or Austin Barnes.

Dodgers' Kyle Farmer: Optioned to Oklahoma City

Farmer was sent back down to Triple-A Oklahoma City following Wednesday's game.
Farmer will return to the minors after joining the big-league club this past weekend to provide some extra depth while the Dodgers continue to deal with injuries. This move likely signals the return of Chase Utley, who is set to come off the DL (thumb) prior to Friday's game against the Mets. As for Farmer, the 27-year-old will continue to receive regular at-bats with Oklahoma City.
