Expect some furious tweeting about Vindman's Ukranian background. Which begs the question of why he was in the room. To act as a translator in case there were misunderstandings? How does he have a brother on the NSC staff if their loyalty is in question? Trump tried to blame Pompeo (another toady thrown under the bus) for bringing Vindman in.
Why purposely alter a document if you think there's nothing wrong with it? Now I really want to see the un-altered document.

So the yo yo’s in DC are going to go ahead with the impeachment inquiry. What’s another wasted billion dollars or so and year and a half of interviews and depositions?
Haven’t these morons figured it out by now? Everything and everybody in that city is corrupt and they have about as much chance of impeaching this clown as I do of stealing Kate Upton away from Verlander.
The dude is 100% Teflon. Nothing he says or does, no matter how offensive and / or illegal they may be EVER sticks to the Donald. He’ll probably be re-elected before any decision on this is made.
I wouldn’t shed a single tear if someone blew them and that nasty hell hole off the face of the earth.
GO DODGERS!!!

His incessant beating of the same drum seems to strike a resonant chord with his zombie-esque constituency. Just keep repeating it's a "witch hunt," "lynching," " fake news," etc. Attack the integrity of any & all accusers. Normally I would say he's insulting our intelligence. Guess not. Naturally the vote was along strict party lines. Two Democrats in conservative districts defected. Interestingly, four Republicans abstained. Guess they felt embarrassed but just couldn't bring themselves to break ranks. All four are Southerners too. Trump's defense thus far should be the template for all future presisdents to follow. It works.

Guess he now wants $700,000,000,000 for the wall Mexico was supposed to pay for. Democrats in Congress shot it down.
What was kinda funny was Trump saying we were building a wall in Colorado. Kansas, we're not building a wall in Kansas. But they'll benefit from the wall in Colorado. There are always cost overruns. Ask anyone who has has added a bathroom. So this nimrod proposes building a 700 BILLION dollar wall & doesn't have the slightest idea what it's supposed to protect. Just swell.
Aricept or Namenda might help. Couldn't hurt.

We know ALL about cost overruns here. That palace we taxpayers erected for the winless Bungles was scheduled at $750 million; came in just a tick under two BILLION! The sales tax increase we were promised would be retracted? Never going to happen. My cousin worked as a plumber on that thing and told me they had nearly completed ALL of their work, including marble countertops, fixtures, etc. Uncle Mikey comes in - doesn’t like the colour scheme he originally ordered or any of the fixtures so they had to tear EVERYTHING out and replace them. Just imagine the size & depth that entailed for a 70k seat stadium! He also advised workers would steal anything that wasn’t tied down at the end of each shift, including any copper piping, faucets, cabinets, etc. We’re going to be paying for that POS until they put me in the big oven. GO DODGERS!!!

Trump's biggest problem is his big mouth. That'll turn some voters away for sure. However, it goes both ways: he takes abuse from scum like Maxine Waters and gives it right back, and doesn't care if the liberal press outlets call him racist for it. Another thing in Trump's favor is that he doesn't check the ethnic group of his assailant. He's been wrongly labeled racist cos the left has nothing else to attack him with. I understand Harry Truman was like that too. Now, what Trump needs to do is stop this wall nonsense and talk about another tax cut. The wall is a waste and could cause more problems than it solves. The existing laws need to be enforced, reagardless of babbling and outright lying thru the teeth (concentration camps??? The "inmates" having to drink water out of the toilet?) of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, while patting Barack Obama (who created the "camps")on the back. Now that's real bias! As for the tax cut, it doesn't favor the rich unless you focus on the highest bracket. That's like saying, "he got $1001 and I only got $443", not considering how much was put in. And for that matter, none of the tax cuts since the '80s have unfairly benefitted the wealthy. The liberals spout it and many people believe it cos it sounds good, but a check of the official stats prove otherwise. All that said, there has to be a point that income tax is cut to the point the gov't does lose money. And I agree that all these "scandals" are cos the liberals are still bitter about Trump's upset in '16. No sooner does the Mueller report controversy go away, and now this phone call nonsense starts up. Stormy Daniels tried it too, but she failed. I wonder what the next crock of bull will be?

Forgotten in all this is Vice President Mike Pence. Pence met with Zelensky & was reportedly a witness to Trump's incriminating July 25th call to the Ukranian president. Some Democrats want to impeach him as well. That's overkill, IMHO.
Sure, technically that makes him an accessory. But are the Dems really attempting a coup by putting Pelosi in the Oval Office? They shouldn't want that stain on their record. Stick to Trump. Don't risk it all by going for a clean sweep. Pence is a conservative. It's allegedly not about liberal or conservative. It's about Trump. If enough embarrassing revelations come out during Trump's impeachment, the rest will take care of itself.
Let's at least TRY to appear the guardians of law & order & not just out for political gain. You'll lose swing voters like me.

Was just thinking. A while back I had commented on how organized Republicans are & how much I admired that. Could that work against them in this particular instance?
Some of his party brethren were pretty appalled by Trump at first. But once it became apparent he was their candidate in 2016 they fell into lockstep, unlike Democrats who are constantly squabbling amongst themselves. Then they invaded private proceedings & voted as a bloc against impeachment. I don't think impeachment gets past the Senate anyway. The entire proceeding will galvanize his staunchest supporters. How much does it sully his entire party though if the evidence against him is convincing enough? Were their constituents' Reps & Senators really looking out for their best interests? Or playing partisan politics?
This is a dangerous game, for both sides of the aisle. The spark that ignited the flame was Trump trying to coerce a foreign leader into helping him dig up dirt on a political rival. Either way, that gambit failed horribly.
I recall Dick Cheney baiting John Edwards in their debates. Guess Cheney had a gay daughter. This was Dick's way of saying he was understanding of gay rights, not a fossil, & of luring Edwards in. Sure enough, Edwards took the bait & brought up Cheney's daughter in their next debate. Cheney acted offended that Edwards would stoop so low as to bring family into it. Edwards was momentarily stunned & looked really bad for doing so. I would have quickly retorted that YOU brought family into it, Mr. Vice President. Do you normally invoke your family only as political footballs? But then I'm a hopeless smart-ass.
Trump made the same mistake with Hunter Biden. The difference between Trump & Edwards is Trump wouldn't hesitate to up the ante. Maybe even call his daughter a dyke. He gets away with it because that's what we've come to expect from him.

Trump insults Beto O’Rourke as a ‘poor b***ard’ who quit 2020 race ‘like a dog’
The Independent / November 1, 2019 2:19 PM PDT
Donald Trump has used coarse language in remarks about Democrat Beto O’Rourke, telling supporters he was a “poor b***ard” who quit the 2020 presidential race “like a dog”.
Speaking at a rally in Tupelo, Mississippi, Mr Trump launched an attack on the former Texan congressman, just hours after he announced he was ending his bid to become the Democratic challenger for 2020.
“Poor b***ard,” said Mr Trump “Pathetic guy.”
He added: “”He came out of Texas a very hot political property, and he went back as cold as you can be.”
The president then mocked Mr O’Rourke’s arm gestures, adding: “What is he on?
Mr Trump was roundly criticised by Mr O’Rourke this summer in the aftermath of a mass shooting at a Walmart store in El Paso.
The 47-year-old, who had formerly represented the Texas border city, accused Mr Trump of stirring the kind of racist bigotry that allegedly led to the killing of nearly two-dozen people.
Mr O’Rourke, who also called for the president to act on gun control, rose to national attention in 2018 with his closely fought challenge to Republican senator Ted Cruz.
However, he was never able to rekindle that kind of passion during his presidential bid, and on Friday he announced he was ending his campaign.
Speaking to supporters in Iowa, Mr O’Rourke said that while his campaign was ending, he planned to stay active in the fight to defeat Mr Trump. “I will be part of this and so will you,” he said.
Mr O’Rourke was urged to run for president by many Democrats, including supporters of former president Barack Obama, who were energised by his narrow Senate loss.
“Though it is difficult to accept, it is clear to me now that this campaign does not have the means to move forward successfully,” he wrote in a Medium post formally announcing the end of his campaign.
“Acknowledging this now is in the best interests of those in the campaign; it is in the best interests of this party as we seek to unify around a nominee; and it is in the best interests of the country.”

Remember a few years ago she said, "the Tea Party can go to hell"? The press paid very little attention. Sure, she's only a congresswoman, but those are still pretty strong words. And just a year ago, she told her followers to "create a crowd whenever you see a Trump fan or cabinet member in public"? Trump hasn't sunk that far...yet. That woman is pure scum but she gets away with it because of the color of her skin

I hate that bitch Maxine Waters. Her only fans are Looy Farrakhan and blacks of South Central LA who publically burn the flag while chanting, "don't be mean to Queen Maxine" or something similar. .

I asked her for help punishing an employer for terminating me when I was CLEARLY covered by the Americans With Disabilities Act (signed into law by George Herbert Bush) & never heard back from that self-serving cunt. I wrote a second letter & asked if it would help light a fire under her if I was black too. Never heard back. Obviously I'm liberal by nature. But not so much so I take leave of reality & back every Democratic proposal. Six decades on this planet has formulated a very cynical stance on my part. The Republicans give me a better candidate, then I'm voting for him or her.

Wonder what Trump has against Marie Yovanovitch. The Ukrainians clearly liked her in her role as U.S. Ambassador. Relations were improving with Trump's promise of military aid. Her version has Trump & Giuliani conspiring to have her canned & then smeared.
Why does Giuliani have so much influence? Have to admit it's mildly amusing if it turns out he was associating with Russian organized crime figures. He made his bones locking up 70 year old Mafia dons.

Was reading more about Giuliana. His list of clients might present interesting questions about possible conflicts of interest. Is he Trump's point man in potential business & political deals? It sure looks like it. At one point he was critical of Romania for being TOO tough on crime. Odd stance for a former crusading D.A.
