Donnie has the entire GOP cowed. They voted they didn't want witnesses & testimony. I think the Dems will keep pounding that issue until the election. Bolton's book will do a lot to damage the Republican party. That & the fact the GOP refused to hear his account. Another case of the left’s “circling”. They called and heard from 17 witnesses. But now that doesn’t seem to be enough so they want more. And they could call 17 more and that still wouldn’t be enough. F irst it was Kavanaugh - or was it Russian collusion? I’ve pretty much lost track and interest in the entire thing because it just keeps repeating itself.
When one thing doesn’t work, they move on to the next. When that doesn’t work, the next. Until they’ve run the gamut and then end up right back where they started. It’s 100% clear to me and most Americans that they have been trying to remove Trump since he laid his hand on the Bible. And for one and ONLY one reason. Their messiah HRC got beat by an obnoxious, boorish Hollywood hustler that they and the completely biased media blatantly boasted could and would NEVER happen. I never liked Al Gore and still am not a fan of his. But when he lost, he took the defeat and within a month or so nobody was mentioning his name. How they can continue to beat that dead horse about the “will of the people” and HRC winning the “popular vote” is simply astounding. They have proven there are over 2 million more registered voters in CA alone than there are people of age that CAN vote. Are we naive enough to believe ANY of those votes were for Republicans in a state bluer than our favourite team? Voter fraud could be wiped out with one quick swoop - fingerprint or iris recognition. It might cost a few bucks, sure. But the I’d rather see that money spent on something worthwhile as opposed to the dozens of Mont Blanc fountain pens Heir Pelosi was handing out like candy at Halloween. But that’s the LAST thing the Dems want. It would cost them millions of votes between the above mentioned, illegals and deceased. So they’ll continue to bitch and moan about the antiquated Electoral College and if they ever get control of all three houses, we’re very likely to see its removal and the destruction of what our founding fathers of this great nation had in mind when our Constitution was written. God help us all! GO DODGERS!!! One excuse after another why Hillary lost. Of course they've beat the Russian collusion into the ground, Hillary's workers not doing their job right, ad infinitum, ad nauseum. Now it's Ukrainian collusion! But my fav of all is that husbands threatened to beat their wives if they didn't vote for Trump. Every excuse one can imagine except that Hillary is a jerk. Sure, she won 51% of the vote but it was mostly in hedonistic states like Cali, NY and Mass, where many people live and those in small states like here in Idaho, and blue collar states like PA, WI and MI, where people didn't want to feel ignored. I didn't used to like Trump but I sure do now. It was mainly his big mouth, but hearing so many dems speak about him the way they do, and any time Trump returned fire they'd play the race and sexist card, it all backfired, and I'm sure there are plenty like me. To see them break down in tears, after torturing so many for so long. Trump's tweets were whiny tears. McConnell & Co. have given him a new lease on life. Did he stop when the scandal broke? No. He sent Giuliani back for more. He was emboldened by Congress's feeble powers. I'm not saying the Bidens are innocent. I'm saying no one is buying that as Trump's real reason. |

Pelosi blew it last night at Trump's self-celebatory state of the union address. America is great again because of me, etc. He actually orchestrated a touching moment when he invited the wife of a soldier & then had the soldier appear.
Trump's narcissism was planned to aggravate the Democrats & they bit. There were some audible groans. He had given Pence & Pelosi copies of his speech beforehand. At the conclusion Nancy tore her's to pieces.
Conservative media jumped on this to say Nancy & the Dems are unpatriotic. They were obviously being baited by a masturbator, but still shouldn't have fallen into the trap. Liberal media said Trump insulted Pelosi by not shaking her hand when it was offered. He didn't shake Pence's either. He just turned away very quickly so Nancy would know what it was about, but Trump could claim otherwise. Hell, if it was me, I would have had a big roll of gauze on my hand, like I had hurt it. 'Sorry, Mr. Prez.' Then wave my bandaged hand.
It was a circus, like pretty much everything Trump does. He's very likely already tweeted about it.

Pretty sure that's because he's not as rich as he's claimed, doesn't want people to know too much about his shadier dealings, & maybe how much he over-bills the government on his frequent golf trips to his own resort.
I've given up. We're entering totalitarianism. Voluntarily surrendering our freedom. Both sides of the aisle are so caught up in this Hatfield & McCoy feud they can't agree & or get a damn thing done to help advance the COUNTRY. It's all about them & how they can advance their own interests. More & more I believe we need that viable third party. Washington is in gridlock.

Far as I can see, Schiff, Pelosi & Nadler have been leading this crusade against Trump. Biden just happened to be the guy caught in Trump's crosshairs. The candidate Donald feared the most. At that moment I realized this was never going to end. The votes on both sides of the aisle demonstrated no one has the gonads to break ranks & vote their conscience. It's all about their careers. JR nailed it. Just blow it up & start all over again. |

So the primaries are underway and the Dems look even more unorganized and lost than ever. They truly have no viable candidate. Let’s look at the choices:
A 80 year old Marxist / Socialist
A 80 year old creepy pedoophiliac with pending criminal charges
A gay guy
A couple of women less likable than HRC
A billionaire that was basically run out of NYC
And possibly so desperate, the return of HRC herself
Maybe they can talk Mitt into changing parties. Naw - he couldn’t even beat a no-name, no experience three month Senator from Chicago.
Even the “prediction master” would have trouble blowing this one. CA & NY won’t be enough for the Dems in 2020 just like they weren’t in ‘16.
