Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the Dodgers' 6-1 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Bellinger had just two hits in his last 19 at-bats coming into this contest, so it was good to see him get his power stroke back, as he launched his eighth long ball of the season with this eight-inning blast off Tyler Webb. His numbers are by no means horrible, but it's still been a bit of a disappointing start to his sophomore campaign for Bellinger, who has a .746 OPS so far this year after lighting up the league to the tune of a .267/.352/.581 slash line with 39 homers as a rookie last season.

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Hits sixth homer of season

Muncy went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run to help the Dodgers to a 6-1 victory over the Padres on Sunday.

Muncy wasn't in the lineup to start the game against Padres lefty Matt Strahm, but he made his presence felt after entering as a pinch-hitter, launching a two-run blast off Tyler Webb. That makes six long balls in just 83 at-bats in 2018 for Muncy, and he's now boasting an impressive .241/.354/.518 slash line for the season.

Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Goes 2-for-3 against Padres

Taylor went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of runs in the Dodgers' 6-1 victory over the Padres on Sunday.

A day after launching his seventh home run of the season, Taylor kept his hot hitting going with a second-straight multi-hit effort that boosted his slash line to .248/.338/.450. The 27-year-old got off to a brutally slow start to the season, but his recent surge has his OPS up to .788 through 202 at-bats, so he'll look to keep pumping that back up toward the .850 mark he posted in his breakout campaign of least season going forward.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Continues dominant start to season

Buehler (3-1) got the win against the Padres on Sunday, scattering just four hits and one earned run over seven strong innings, striking out eight and walking none as the Dodgers cruised to a 6-1 victory.

The rookie just continues to toy with big-league hitters, as this marked the second straight start Buehler has gone seven innings while allowing just one earned run -- a stretch where he has posted an immaculate 14:0 K:BB. He's backed up the hype since tossing a combined no-hitter against this same Padres team back on May 4, as the 23-year-old now has a 2.20 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP through his 41 innings, and has given up two or fewer earned runs in six of his seven starts this season.

Dodgers' Chase Utley: Not seeing much action

Utley is out of the lineup Sunday against the Padres, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports.

Utley will hit the bench for the fifth straight game, with two of those absences coming against right-handed pitching. It appears Utley's days as even a platoon player in the Dodgers infield might be over following the returns of Justin Turner and Logan Forsythe from the disabled list in mid-May.

Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Confirmed for Thursday's start

Kershaw (biceps) has been confirmed as the starter for Thursday's game against the Phillies, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Manager Dave Roberts alluded to Kershaw returning from the disabled list in his morning interview Sunday, but the Dodgers' President of Baseball Operations, Andrew Friedman, went as far as to confirm the fact that Kershaw will start Thursday shortly after. The southpaw will pick things up with a 2.86 ERA over his first 44 innings this season.
