I'd still like to hear everyone's opinion about this, so I'm going to bring this discussion over from the other board.
Here's my last post there:
Well, thanks JT. My opening day prediction has now been blown up cuz you had to go out and get your wrist busted.
So alright, given that Turner won't be in the line-up on opening day, here's my "for what it's worth" prediction:
LF Toles CF Taylor SS Seager 1B Bellinger RF Puig (I still like him better 8th, but Belly's bat needs protection) C Barnes 3B Forsythe 2B Utley P Kershaw
Opening Day can't get here soon enough!
With that said, I'm beginning to waffle on a few selections.
My latest prediction:
CF Taylor SS Seager RF Puig 1B Bellinger LF Kemp 3B Forsythe 2B Hernandez C Barnes P Kershaw
Bench guys: Toles, Utley, Grandal, Pederson (though I really would rather have Farmer)
Thoughts?

Don't see both Toles and Joc. I think it will be Farmer and Joc, even though Toles deserves it more. That way Toles plays every day at AAA and he gets called up later on.

Joc looks so lost at the plate. I sure hope he finds his way but at this point, I don't think he deserves to break camp with the big club.

Toles got the shaft! He'll be up soon enough, but he earned it, Joc did not.

I think Joc gets a month tops to show that the WS wasn't a fluke. If April ends and he's not hitting, Toles will be up. At this point, Toles just brings more to the table.

Isnt crazy that Kemp is still a choice for us? Crazy! It is. Never thought I'd see him with the Dodgers again. But at the same time, they need his presence in the lineup with Turner down. I hope he can produce, because the otherwise the offense could have some problems.

Kemp is a good hitter, and since he got serious about his body and lost the weight, he proved to me (and to the Dodgers) that he wants to win a chip. He earned it. Let him rake in this dangerous lineup. He's got protection behind him, so I expect a fairly good season from him. And he'll be motivated because he's playing for a contract and he's got kids nipping at his heels for playing time. He has to produce, and he knows it.

He didnt do bad last year. Hes still got a little in the tank. Yes, he does. He's averaged what, about 25 HR's over the last 3 years? And he was in only 115 games last year. Also averages ~100 RBI's per (full) season. Not too bad. Plus, he hit well in spring training this year. He could have a significant impact on the Dodgers' success this year.

"Plus, he hit well in spring training this year. "
Well he finished the spring something like 4 for 31. He did well the first 2 weeks against the scrubs.
Still has some work to do. Just keeping it real.

Not sure what that has to do with him supposedly "hitting well" in ST though.
