Strasburg allowed two solo home runs but was otherwise excellent Saturday, generating an impressive 17 swinging strikes. While still a very small sample, Strasburg has now allowed six home runs this season after allowing just 13 throughout all of 2017. Even so, he has a 2.97 ERA and .99 WHIP, so his ratio stats haven't spiked despite his early season susceptibility to the long ball. Share: Twitter Facebook April 21, 2018 7:53 pm Nationals' Adam Eaton: Takes BP on Saturday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Eaton (ankle) took on-field batting practice ahead of Saturday's game against the Dodgers, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports. The speedy outfielder was eligible to return from the disabled list Friday, but the Nationals wound up not activating him from the disabled list immediately. It seems like he's doing pretty well health-wise, but with the Dodgers trotting out a pair of left-handers pitching the first two games of the series, it's not too surprising to see Washington hold off activating him. The Nationals don't face a righty until Monday against the Giants, so there's a chance Eaton won't be activated until then. Share: Twitter Facebook April 21, 2018 7:25 pm Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Available off bench Saturday by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Rendon (toe) is available to pinch hit Saturday against the Dodgers, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports. The third baseman is being held out of the lineup for the seventh game in a row, but it seems like the team is confident enough in his health to let him come off the bench if need be. Wilmer Difo will start at the hot corner in his place, but it seems like Rendon is getting closer to a return. Share: Twitter Facebook April 21, 2018 6:46 pm Nationals' Trevor Gott: Back in majors by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Gott was called up to the majors to replace the injured Matt Grace (groin) on Saturday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports. Gott had been down with Triple-A Syracuse for just five days after having originally made the Opening Day roster. In his first five innings for the Nationals this season he had a 5.40 ERA, walking three batters and striking out three. Share: Twitter Facebook April 21, 2018 6:42 pm Nationals' Matt Grace: Out with strained groin by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Grace was placed on the disabled list with a strained left groin Saturday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports. Grace has a 5.06 ERA in 10.2 innings for the Nationals so far this season. Trevor Gott was promoted from Triple-A Syracuse to take his place in the bullpen. Share: Twitter Facebook

April 22, 2018 2:09 pm Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Will start Monday vs. Marlins by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Buehler will be recalled rom Triple-A Oklahoma City and start Monday's game against the Marlins. The Dodgers will call upon their top pitching prospect to make a spot start against an exploitable Marlins' lineup. Buehler allowed eight runs over 9.1 innings of relief with the big-league club last season but currently sports a 2.08 ERA and 16:4 K:BB with Oklahoma City this season. He's a valid DFS or streaming option but may not be in the majors long enough to warrant extended roster ownership in season-long formats. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 22, 2018 2:27 am Dodgers' Hyun-Jin Ryu: Has another dominant outing by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Ryu (3-0) allowed two hits while walking three batters and striking out eight across seven innings to record the win Saturday against the Nationals. Ryu has been strong to begin the season and this start marks the third consecutive time he has pitched at least six innings and recorded a minimum of eight strikeouts. His K:BB is up by over eight percent from last season, a good indication that he is pitching at a much higher level and that his results have been earned to this point. His next start will likely come Friday against the Giants. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 22, 2018 2:16 am Dodgers' Cody Bellinger: Hits two-run homer by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Bellinger went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Nationals. Bellinger hit his third home run of the season in the eighth inning, this one coming off right-hander Carlos Torres and is now slashing .289/.333/.474 in 76 at-bats. Those numbers are well off pace from his rookie campaign and there are some noticeable differences in his batted-ball profile early this season. Most notably, his groundball rate is up 12 percent from last year and he has a 31.6 percent infield flyball rate. Neither of those are likely to remain true throughout the entire season, but they are depressing his power numbers in the early going. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 22, 2018 2:04 am Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Blasts pinch-hit home run by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Hernandez hit a solo home run in a pinch-hit appearance Saturday against the Nationals. Hernandez came off the bench in the seventh inning and popped his second home run of the season. He is known for being able to hit left-handed pitching well, but has been dismal at the plate regardless of the handedness of the pitcher to begin the season. He has gotten inconsistent at-bats of late, but if he builds off this performance, he could find himself back in the lineup regularly again. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 22, 2018 1:58 am Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Hits first home run by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Pederson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday against the Nationals. The Dodgers shifted around their lineup Saturday, moving Chris Taylor to second base, which gave Pederson a rare spot in the starting lineup. He took advantage of the opportunity, hitting his first home of the season, coming off Stephen Strasburg in the second inning. Due to lack of playing time, Pederson is only a viable option in exceptionally deep leagues despite his name value. Share: Twitter Facebook

Dodgers, time to Shake, Rattle and Roll We need this game this evening just to break even at .500
*80's degrees a Stark contrast to last night game when it was in the 60's as we'll see how many balls clear the fence this evening, hope Wood is on his game!

Well, maybe being on the main stage Buehler will get shot of adrenaline going for him, and we all can be pleasantly surprised with better than average performance that includes a W!
