Ok, MLB.tv will work on all devices though. Why would you need more than that? when the Dodgers play AZ or the game is on espn or fox it is blacked out on mlb.tv untill a hour after the game, VPN gets around the live blackouts.

I thought we were talking about tomorrow though. We play SD. most LA fans that live in LA can easily get around all the black outs if they have mlb.tv and a VPN service. They used to block out the Dodgers when they play SD also but last year they changed it, I mean come’on it’s like almost 400 miles away and in another state. D-bags are 200 miles away and they block me and even when they play in LA, I live in their black out zone, home and road 😡

Only games I can't see on MLB.tv are Mets and Yankees. But if dodgers play them I can watch the away feed on regular tv. Not ideal but I still get 162 games a year so that's fine.

Dodger notes 4-15
In 28 starts vs the Diamondbacks, Clayton Kershaw is now 15 and 9 with about a 2.50 era
At Dodger Stadium he is now 9-1 with about a 1.5 era
Jackie Robinson did not wear #42 before he got to the Dodgers.
That was just the number they have him when he showed up.
Numbers on jerseys used to be based on the batting order.
The last 42 in baseball was Mariano Rivera
71 years ago, when Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier, the attendance was a little bit over 26,000 at Ebbets Field
Robinson became the Rookie of the Year that year in 1947.
The color barrier in managing was not broken until 1975 when Frank Robinson was hired as a manager.
He was hired as a player/manager.
Frank Robinson was in attendance at the game today
Godley had only given up one earned run all year in his 16 Innings of work coming into today.
Coming into today Godley has only walked 1 hitter. He had only given up 96 walks in 266 Innings.
Last year there were 1000 fewer stolen bases than there were on average in the late 1980s.
There were only 29 players last year in the MLB that stole 20 bases or more.
In 2007 there were 297 pitch outs in anticipation of a base runner attempting to steal a base.
Last year there were just 129 pitch outs
Several years ago Tommy Lasorda was throwing batting practice in spring training.
There was a fan in the stands heckling The Hitter that he should be hitting better.
Lasorda said, if you think it's so easy why don't you come down and try .
The fan came down from the stands, took four swings and missed them all, then, without being asked, left the field and went back into the stands.
This is the 59th time that Kershaw has had double-digit strikeouts in a game.
Koufax did it 97 times
71 of Kershaw's 100 pitches were strikes.
He now has lowered his era to 1.73.
He has struck out 31 so far this year and walked just 3.
This game broke an 11-game regular season losing streak to the Diamondbacks for the Dodgers.

Really good win today. And, really good info from you, Poke. It was a sight for sore eyes. Thanks CK Your welcome, and thank you. Yeah, it was good to see dominance.; All your info was cool, loved the history too. There used to be a column probably in the Herald Examiner, might have been Allan Malamud, he'd list stuff like you did.; Lotta info, quick!!! Good stuff. Late Times writer Allan Malamud to be inducted into California Boxing ... www.latimes.com/sports/boxing/la-sp-malamud-hall-fame-20161020-snap-story.htmlOct 20, 2016 - One of the signature elements of Allan Malamud's "Notes on a Scorecard" column in the Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Herald-Examiner was "Lookalikes: …" But there was no one like the late Malamud, the local treasure of a man and writer who on Saturday will be inducted into the posthumous wing ...

Yeah, he was the guy. From the linked article: "After moving on to a columnist's position of his own, Dwyre said he tried to honor Malamud by writing in his patented three-dot column style. "I found I couldn't do 15 or 20 items," Dwyre said. "It was tough to do what he did."" ----------------------------- You did it, Poke!!!!
