Said a year ago I’d quit posting here, but guess I lied, lol. Not much action on the other board good or bad, figured I’d see what’s good here.
Heluva record this year and definitely far from last place in the West, lol. What do you guys think our chances are in this years Post Season? Really would love to beat the hell out of the Astros this time around, but they’re pitching and hitting are gonna be even stronger than when we played them 2 years ago. It’s the playoffs and I know anything can happen. Gotta get to the WS first then see who else is there. Anyway, what you guys think about our chances this year?

on the other board that's just about the consensus , led by the penguin. WE HAVE NO CHANCE, EVERYBODY IS BETTER THAN US. DAVE ROBERTS IS AN IDIOT. The problem is, the game has passed them by, the game played today is not the same one they grew up watching. I's also managed differently. Just a bunch of old men shaking their fist and screaming at the sky "should have bunted" "put a play on " "steal second" lol,lol I miss the old days too,but they ain't coming back. and getting rid of the old ball and replacing it with a Titleist really changed things
The Penguin sadly has become the cult leader over there, smh. By the way, who is the Penguin on the other board? Is it that Taylormaid person or someone else? |

We'll be as good as our bullpen allows us. That means Jansen in particular. He's going to have to step it up because Kelly is already making excuses. |

They're sitting home watching the playoffs, might as well have finished last.If they sucked and finished last I wouldn't be angry. I would just say fire dave roberts. problem is, I am extremely angry with how we lost in the playoffs, so all I have to say is FIRE DAVE ROBERTS

They're not going to fire Dave, so you might as well get used to that. I think Dave to an outstanding job at everything but managing the pitching. Having said that I believe he will improve on that. I don't think we need to change managers every couple years when things don't go the way we thought they should. Daves as good a manager as there is hes just getting started. I'd say we need to be patient at this point and see if he can learn on how to manage the pitching staff/bullpen better. I dont see anyone out there that would be a hige upgrade over Dave anyway.

Dodgers are 15-7 / .682 & in 1st place by 2 games over the Rockies. Just 7.0 games out of last. The Giants are there, as per usual. Good old reliable Giants. 4 championships in 86 years.

Dodgers are 21-8 / .724 & out of last place by that same 8.0 games. Colorado is either in a funk or swooning. They're 2-11 over their last 13. Dodgers try for the sweep today.
