1 run in 6 innings is now called being "knocked around"..... Did you watch the game? Have to ask because you didn't watch game 5 of the W.S. He was in constant trouble from start to finish. He jus pulled a Houdini act to get out of trouble repeatedly.

Are you high?

Kershaw was knocked around on opening day. He pitched in constant trouble all day. He found his way to get out of trouble but that was not a Clayton Kershaw performance of years past. His issue was due to the lack of the fastball. Rich Hill's fastball sits a mile or 2 under Kershaw's now. Rich Hills primary pitch is the curve. Is Clayton's number one pitch going to be the slider? Never seen a guy go out there and throw sliders at the rate Hill throws the curve. If so hopefully his arm doesn't fall off. Then again hopefully he can get a little more velocity back on his fastball instead. Do you think Kershaw's best pitch in his career has been his fastball? Seriously, you're embarrassing yourself. btw, what was Koufax' best pitch? Just wondering what your answer will be. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have no clue about Koufax he was before my time. Kershaw pitched off his fastball in years past. Hasn't had the fastball to do so this year so far.

Yeah, it is a whole separate issue. No it isn't is what I said earlier. Decreased velocity will make playoff success that much harder for him to achieve. The playoffs are his kryptonite. If he is sitting 90 in April what will it sit in October? Who knows. Might be 92/93. not sure it even matters, because 93 is not that hard anyway.

Oh you must not have been paying attention when Ken Rosenthal was talking or had the W.S. on mute. I agree with what you said about opening day he clearly was not at his best. We just used different words to explain that fact. I say it had a lot to do with his decreased fastball. He tried to pitch off it in game 1 and it didn't go well hits wise (by his standards).

Koufax' best pitch was his curve, even though he threw as hard as anyone.
Kershaw's best pitch has NEVER been his fastball. Not in the majors anyway. Your oblivious.

I didn't say it was his best pitch. I said he has pitched off his fastball. That is true. Say differently and you are oblivious. He has adjusted the way he has pitched early this year.

You said his issue was his lack of fastball. You're wrong.
He battled that day and gave up 1 run in 6 innings. Sorry man, that's not getting "knocked around". That's called "pitching".
You can find negative in anything, that's really depressing.

You can find negative in anything, that's really depressing. He has been forced to change the way he has pitched in the past. That is a fact due to lost velocity on his fastball. The pitch he has always pitched off of. Hopefully I am wrong because your take is in the best interest of the Dodgers.

You're making yourself look ridiculous. Kersh is fine. When he's not THEN complain... serious question.... is there anything that ever makes you happy? Do you ever smile just for the helluva it?

Third place in NL West. 👍 Jeremy has to be fuming about that... This might be a sticky thread for the year. Like the "Epic Meltdown" thread was on the other board. We can follow the Dodgers' season this way. The ups & downs.

Do you see the Dodgers winning the World Series even after their start? The Dodgers are missing Turner but Arizona is also missing Jake Lamb. The NL West competition has definitely gotten better. The Dodgers matched their worst 13 game start since moving to LA.
