April 11, 2018 7:39 am Dodgers' Matt Kemp: Goes yard in win by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Kemp went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Athletics. The veteran outfielder got off to a slow start in the power department this season, but he tripled his extra-base hits in one fell swoop Tuesday. Kemp has started nine of the Dodgers' first 11 contests, and he should receive ample opportunities to drive in runs while batting fifth in the order. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 11, 2018 3:00 am Dodgers' Corey Seager: Hits first homer of season against A's by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the Dodgers' 4-0 win over the Athletics on Tuesday. The long-awaited first long ball of the season finally came for the struggling shortstop, as he managed to touch up A's starter Sean Manaea with a first-inning solo blast. Seager is still hitting just .211 with two RBI through 38 at-bats but it was encouraging to see him leave the yard, especially with concerns over an elbow injury he battled throughout spring training possibly hampering his production. Owners will hope Tuesday's homer is what he needed to jumpstart his season and regain his All-Star caliber form going forward. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 11, 2018 2:52 am Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Hits first homer of season by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Taylor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, his first of the season, while also leaving five men on base in the Dodgers' 4-0 win over Oakland on Tuesday. After an unexpected breakout campaign last season that saw him hit 21 home runs and put up an .850 OPS, it's been tough sledding to start the year for Taylor, who is slashing just .209/.222/.349 through 43 at-bats. It's still too early to push the panic button on a player who performed so consistently over 514 at-bats last year, but owners who drafted Taylor with the idea that he would replicate last year's production wouldn't be blamed for leaving him out of their lineups until he shows signs of turning things around Share: Twitter Facebook
April 11, 2018 2:41 am Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Gets second save after rough start to season by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Jansen got the save against the Athletics on Tuesday, yielding no hits in 0.2 innings, striking out one with no walks to close out the Dodgers' 4-0 victory. After a worrisome pair of appearances to start the season that saw him give up four earned runs and get tagged with a loss and a blown save, Jansen managed his third straight scoreless appearance and second straight converted save opportunity against Oakland. His 7.71 ERA and 1.50 WHIP still look ugly due to the rough start but if Jansen is truly back to his best-closer-in-baseball form, those numbers should start to gravitate back towards his normal levels as his innings pile up. April 11, 2018 2:36 am Dodgers' Hyun-Jin Ryu: Bounces back against A's by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Ryu (1-0) got his first win of the season on Tuesday, shutting out Oakland over six strong innings, striking out eight, walking one and yielding just one hit in a 4-0 victory for the Dodgers. It was a great bounce-back effort from the left-hander after he lasted just 3.2 innings and gave up three runs in his first start of the year against the Diamondbacks. Ryu posted a 1.37 WHIP in his 126.2 innings last year, so it wouldn't be advised to expect him to be this dominant every start. That said, if he can manage to get that number back down towards the 1.20 mark he averaged in 2013-14 and hover around the 3.44 ERA he's posted for his career this season, Ryu could work his way back into the discussion as a viable option to help fill out a fantasy staff. April 10, 2018 7:47 pm Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Practicing first base by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Pederson practiced fielding grounders at first base Tuesday, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports. While the Dodgers don't have any immediate plans to deploy Pederson at first base, the team could explore the option if Cody Bellinger is unavailable to play at some point. Pederson has appeared in six games since the start of the season, over which he's gone 2-for-15 (.133) and drawn two walks. Share: Twitter Facebook
April 10, 2018 6:58 pm Dodgers' Justin Turner: Still hasn't resumed swinging by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Turner (wrist) said Tuesday that he still hasn't swung a bat, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. Turner is apparently still feeling some "tenderness" in his broken left wrist, so the Dodgers are playing it safe and keeping him from swinging a bat until he's pain-free. The 33-year-old is still unsure when he'll be ready to swing, leaving his return timetable muddled. For now, he remains hopeful to return sometime in May. Share: Twitter Facebook

Trayce Thompson roomed with Alex Wood in 2016, will be interesting to see if he plays tonight. Now he rooms with his brother Klay (obviously) Klay probably has a nice crib

Taylor CF Pederson LF Seager SS Kemp RF Bellinger 1B Grandal C Utley 2B Forsythe 3B Wood P Very interesting lineup. Kemp back in RF? Deja vu all over again? And shouldn't Ethier be in LF? I heard he's not busy right now. Much better hitter than Joc!

Looks like a "throwaway" lineup. Not that it matters, Tulsa could beat oakland
