As if losing to the lowly Reds after going up on them 5 - 3 wasn’t bad enough and my wife as giddy as a schoolgirl, had three rugrats behind us that literally did not sit still for the entire game, which they were about as interested in as watching paint dry.
If they weren’t kicking the back of my chair, they were bumping it with their big asses, arms and other appendages.
Both parents would give the obligatory “Stop That” every now and then, but honestly, kids like that should be left at home.
Families like that are EXACTLY why we’re now forced to sit behind those ridiculous nets all the way down the baselines.
Neither parent giving a rats ass what their brats are doing while both of them are busy texting and engrossed in their cell phones.
Ferris going tomorrow. Hopefully, better days. Oh yeah - and by the way, I got some “bug” earlier in the week (Bird flu?) and feel like total dog poop.
GO DODGERS!!!

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention we were in a row of probably the most inconsiderate morons I’ve EVER experienced at any sporting or concert event.
We had seats on the aisle and I always give my wife the first seat because she normally has to get her half dozen beers and ladies room trips to go with them.
The rest of our row consisted of three or four dudes that would get up every inning for concessions.
Followed five minutes later by another three or four that would do the same.
Followed five minutes after that by a lone straggler woman with a newborn baby that just couldn’t seem to get her shit together and leave with everybody else.
And then, this jackass in the row in front of us would climb over his seat and come down my row to exit so he wouldn’t disturb the seven or eight people sitting in HIS row in front of us.
And of course, the ALL returned back to their seats at different times!
Now I’ve been to a few stadiums and arenas in my days and exactly ZERO of them have been made for comfort.
The seats are usually hard plastic and the rows are barely wide enough to walk thru when nobody is sitting in them.
So, imagine while still recovering from a serious knee injury having to get up and down out of these seats @ 50 times in a few hours and you have my evening.
And that 50 might actually be low because I swear they pulled this same routine just about EVERY SINGLE INNING!
The worst thing was we really couldn’t move anywhere else. Reds were averaging around 10 - 12,000 a game, but the box showed over 40 large there last night - I think the GAB only holds around 42.
Everybody wants to see Ohtani!
I swear, I turn more into Mr. Wilson of Dennis the Menace every day.

'The wind out there is a bitch, coach.' Hmmm... Another dumpster dive. Dude had an ERA over six when the lowly Mutts dumped him last week. Did they really think throwing him into the fire of a close game in front of 40,000 hostile Reds fans was going to be a confidence boost? There’s a reason dudes like this get dumped and despite what they might think, Prior isn’t God and can’t fix all of them, Ridiculous he’s even on the roster with what we already have and have seen from short term AAA call ups. Oh yeah - ELEVEN LOB last night against a bunch of AAA players and pitchers who until last night were ten games under .500. So proud to be a Dodger fan last night. GO DODGERS!!!

Another pathetic display of zero offense tonight. This is one of the easiest HR parks in the country - especially to right.
Another 40,000 tonight to see Ohtani get a triple, but also K two or three times. I think he went 0 - fer last night.
They’ve done a pretty good job of keeping De La Cruz under wraps, but last night it was Jonathan India ripping them a new one and tonight, another couple of AAA scrubs took Ferris out and cousin Hunter pitched out of bases loaded and nobody out by surrendering only one run on a GIDP.
I think I knew right then and there LA was going down again tonight.
Yamaha going tomorrow; instant outs Barnes, Taylor, Kiké and Lutz undoubtedly will be in the lineup.
Yamaha may need to throw a no no!
Actually made our way to the seats I got from a broker. We had seats 8 & 9, so I figured & the chart showed them right in the middle of the row.
But when I got down to them, Row B ended up being a short row, ending in seats 8 & 9. I didn’t move the entire game and kicked myself after what we put up with last night could have been COMPLETELY avoided if I’d have just gone down to the seats I bought! BIG OLD HOMER DOH!!!

Dodgers' Austin Barnes: Filling in for resting Will Smith Rotowire 1 HR AGO Barnes will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Reds.
Barnes will start for the first time in a week while top backstop Will Smith rests for the day game. Over 45 plate appearances this season, Barnes is hitting .189 with zero home runs or stolen bases.
Dodgers' Will Smith: Resting Sunday Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
After starting at catcher in the last five games, Smith will get a break for the day game as the team finishes out its series in Cincinnati. Austin Barnes will get the start behind home plate and will bat ninth in place of Smith.
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Remains in lineup Sunday Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Ohtani will serve as the Dodgers' designated hitter and No. 2 batter in Sunday's game against the Reds.
Though manager Dave Roberts disclosed after Saturday's 3-1 loss that Ohtani has been managing a bruised hamstring of late, the 29-year-old still served as the Dodgers' DH for all nine innings of the contest, going 1-for-4 with a triple and three strikeouts. According to Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Ohtani wasn't running at full speed when he legged out the triple, and while the hamstring issue doesn't look as though it'll cost him any starts, it could result in his stolen-base opportunities being more limited in the short term. Ohtani has gone a perfect 13-for-13 in stolen-base attempts through his first 52 games of the season.
