Dodgers' Gavin Stone: Allows four runs in loss Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Stone (4-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings.
Stone reached at least six innings for a fifth consecutive outing but just missed out on a quality start this time around. The Diamondbacks scratched out a pair of runs on him in the second and another in the fifth before Christian Walker crushed a solo home run in the sixth to make it a 4-1 ballgame. Tuesday was Stone's first time giving up more than a run since April 20 and his first loss since April 7. He now owns a 3.60 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 34:17 K:BB in 50 innings and lines up for a road start against the Mets next week.
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Two steals in loss Rotowire 10 HRS AGO Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, two runs and two steals in Tuesday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Ohtani was one of two Dodger hitters with multiple hits in the game and swiped multiple bases for the third time this year to bring his total up to 13. Ohtani now has nine multi-hit efforts this month and continues to terrorize opposing pitching. He leads the league with a 1.080 OPS and is now slashing .356/.425/.655 with 13 homers, 34 RBI, 39 runs and a 24:42 BB:K in 221 plate appearances.

Son of a bitch. Why do pitchers always do that? Runner on third & they try to snap off a slider in the dirt. Glasnow wild pitched in run number 3.

Snakes announcers for the third night in a row on MLB-TV. SUCH HOMERS!!!
Glasnow falling apart in the fifth. Terrible D positioning by Mookie on what should have been a DP ball.
Heyward playing ball off the wall like it was a chunk of lava rock turning a double into a triple.
WP puts the Snakes up by three. Announcers are creaming themselves.
GO DODGERS!!!

Generous official scorer tonight. Heyward fields that cleanly and he’s likely toast at third. If Mookie was in RF (where he SHOULD be!), that inning probably goes a bit differently.

Is it just me, or Christian Walker is a Dodger killer now?

Scorers have BEEN generous to fielders for a long time. The Phillies of olden times used to get the homerist calls of all time.

Nelson’s ERA after tonight’s shutout of LA is still over six!
How is it that LA lets shit pitchers like this turn into Nolan Ryan for the night?
Snakes win first series in LA in God knows how long.
Guess our division rivalry is changing, at least in the terms of actual competition.
Adios, Gnats and Mads. Hola, Serpentinas.
GO DODGERS!!!

Dodgers' Tyler Glasnow: Takes second loss Rotowire 7 HRS AGO Glasnow (6-2) was tagged with the loss against the Arizona on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk while striking out six over five innings.
Glasnow cruised through the first four innings before allowing three consecutive batters to reach base with one out in the fifth, eventually leading to three runs coming across for Arizona. He would make it through the frame but didn't return for the sixth, marking the second straight start in which he's been unable to make it through at least six innings. The right-hander is now 1-2 in May after going 5-1 in his first six decisions to open the campaign. However, he still sports a healthy 34:5 K:BB through four starts this month.

Dodgers' Chris Taylor: Starting Friday Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Taylor will start in left field and bat seventh Friday against Cincinnati.
Taylor has seen his playing time dwindle in the past month as Andy Pages leapfrogged Taylor on the depth chart and Jason Heyward returned from injury. He's slashing .097/.219/.097 with 30 strikeouts in 74 plate appearances this season.
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: On bench Friday Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Hernandez is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Reds.
Hernandez will take a seat Friday after making six consecutive appearances. Instead, Miguel Rojas will man third base and bat ninth.
Dodgers' Jason Heyward: Taking seat Rotowire 2 HRS AGO Heyward is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Reds.
Despite the Dodgers facing a righty, Heyward will be out of the starting lineup Friday. Teoscar Hernandez, Chris Taylor and Andy Pages will fill the outfield Friday.

Mookster gets a ground rule double to drive in Taylor, & Pahes moves to third.
Ohtani drives in Pahes on an infield out.
4-3 Doyers.
