Dodgers' James Paxton: Bests Atlanta for fourth win Rotowire 27 MINS AGO Paxton (4-0) earned the win over Atlanta on Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out three over 6.2 innings.
The only real damage against Paxton came from a solo home run to Marcell Ozuna in the seventh. Paxton put together his most efficient outing of the year, needing only 84 pitches to get 20 outs, as his two walks were his fewest in a start since April 8. Paxton's strikeout numbers remain significantly lower compared to his career numbers, but he's still finding ways to grid out results. He now owns a 3.06 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 18:24 K:BB in 32.1 innings and lines up to face the Padres on the road next weekend.
Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez: Leaves yard in Sunday's win Rotowire 38 MINS AGO Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.
Hernandez homered for the second time in three games and has tallied at least a hit in 10-of-12 games since April 23. The 31-year-old is slashing .252/.320/.468 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 23 runs and a 13:49 BB:K in 153 plate appearances. Hernandez is showing increased signs of power from a year ago but strikeouts still remain an issue. His 49 strikeouts are currently the fourth-most in baseball, as he's striking out 32 percent of the time.
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Immaculate day at plate Rotowire 48 MINS AGO Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.
Ohtani moved into a tie for first place in the majors with his ninth and 10th home runs of the season, and his perfect day at the dish also brought his average up to .364, vaulting him past the Phillies' Alec Bohm (.360) for the best mark in baseball. The lefty-hitting Ohtani did all his damage against southpaws, opening the day with a two-run blast in the first inning and base hits in the third and sixth innings off Max Fried before tacking on a 464-foot solo shot off A.J. Minter in the eighth.

Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Officially activated Rotowire 1 HR AGO Buehler (elbow) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Monday's start against the Marlins.
As expected, Buehler will toe the rubber Monday evening in his first MLB action since undergoing Tommy John surgery in August 2022. He cruised through five innings April 30 during his final rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City, surrendering one run while fanning five batters, but even so, expect the club to keep a close eye on the right-hander's pitch count in the series opener.
Dodgers' Walker Buehler set for season debut vs. Marlins Stats 1 HR AGO Dodgers' James Outman: Batting ninth Monday Rotowire 1 HR AGO Outman will start in center field and bat ninth in Monday's game versus the Marlins.
Outman has mostly batted seventh this season, but he hit eighth in his last two starts and is now down in the nine spot for the first time since July of 2023. He entered play Monday hitting just .107/.219/.143 across his last nine contests.
Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Faces high leverage situation Rotowire 8 HRS AGO Treinen pitched a clean eighth inning while striking out a batter to secure a hold in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.
Treinen entered to begin the eighth with the Dodgers holding onto a 4-1 lead and retired Jarred Kelenic, Ronald Acuna & Ozzie Albies in order, needing just 11 pitches to get through the frame. It's clear right off the bat that Treinen has the trust of manager Dave Roberts in high leverage situations and could be in the mix for the Dodgers' closer committee while Evan Phillips (hamstring) is sidelined with a hamstring strain.
