Dodgers' Jason Heyward: Begins baseball activities Rotowire 5 MINS AGO Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Heyward (back) ran at full speed and has begun swinging a bat, J.P. Hoornstra of DodgersNation.com reports.
Heyward landed on the 10-day IL on April 3 due to lower back tightness. The injury persisted well past his return window, and Friday marked the firs time that the veteran outfielder has participated in any sort of activity. The Dodgers will have a better idea on how to move forward once they see how Heyward's back responds to his most recent work.

That’s a pretty formidable lineup to be up against with an ERA over four and a half. I guarantee no matter what his pitch count is or if it’s a close game - no way he sees them a third time thru the order. The Book of Analytics - So let it be written, so let it be done. GO DODGERS!!!

JFC!!! Hudson Hawk with another blown hold on a HR to Acuña. On a 3-2 count, fastball right down the middle.
Daisy NEVER effing learns. Dude is unreliable in tie or one run games.
Given up a run or more in four of his last six games. Four of his 13 hits against have left the yard.
GO DODGERS!!!

Ohtani got lucky on the basepaths.

Pahes drove in the winning run? I lost the broadcast. Who says Gavin Rock needs to be sent back down? After a shaky start, he dominated the Cowards on 86 pitches in 6 innings. He's in the rotation to stay!

GO DODGERS!!! Mad Max's homer in the 18th beat the Red Sox in the '18 world series So - once in the last six years? I remember watching that one here in Cincy after we got home at around 2:00 am from a Great White concert. We ended up staying up ALL night as we had an early morning flight out to LA for Games 4 and 5. We checked in at around noonish and then passed out for a few hours before going on the hunt for tix. The hotel concierge tried to get us some and check-in, but the seats were WAY up and pretty pricey. I ended up getting a pair at Field level, maybe 20 rows back behind the LA dugout. The infamous HR by Puig, Daisy pulling Hill with the lead at only 70 pitches in the seventh and turning the game, and likely series over to a FULLY spent bullpen. I think if they’d have evened the series at two, Kersh maybe bears down and pitches one of his best postseason games in his career and LA goes back to Boston up 3 - 2. I guess we’ll never know. But of all the games I’ve gone to at Dodger Stadium, those were the first ones I’d ever seen them lose. GO DODGERS!!!

That's just about right. He needs to be eased back into the rotation and just like Dennis Eckersley, he can reinvent himself. Walkman might have to rely more on his secondary pitches than he used to, but he's smart and knows what pitches to throw and which not to. And it doens't matter how good or bad the Fishies are. They're still major league, the highest level of baseball competition on the planet. Yeah - I know this. But the Marlins are REALLY bad this year. Last time I looked, they had only won six or seven games. It’s MAY!!! That’s a WHOLE lot of losin’ going on for a month plus of games. GO DODGERS!!! Yeah, the Fishies only have 9 wins this year. But the Rocks have 8 and the White Sox have 6. Amazing!
