Make no mistake - this game is not going to be an easy win. But Strasburg is human and humans make mistakes. Verlander has given up three through four innings in Tampa tonight.
We’ve GOT to be patient and not go up there swinging at everything and for the fences. I think if we can get to him early and get him out of a rhythm, we can get that pitch count up and him out of the game.
We’ve seen their pen and while we did open the series in LA with runs against Scherzer, we hit their pen hard in both that and Game Three. And we were one hit away in the ninth in Game Two of all of this being moot.
Ferris will need to pitch like or better than last time out and maybe another inning or two. I don’t really trust Kersh out of the pen, especially with his issues this entire year in his first inning of work (and that ERA of around seven).
Much prefer Kenta if we can get thru six or seven with Ferris. Jansen in the ninth if we’re up by three or four.
GO DODGERS!!!

Oh my GOD! David Vassegh is more of an idiot than I thought he was. I just called from Hawthorne. Tom from Hawthorne.
I started out by saying I admire his defense of Kershaw. He's a first ballot Hall of Famer. But he DOES suck in the postseason. Hopefully he does better in relief. Vassegh started to argue. I moved on to point 2. Time is limited. I'm talking to a retard.
I would consider starting Muncy in right instead of Bellinger. Cody's postseason record speaks for itself. Kike at second. Or reverse it.
Before I could move on to point 3, David cut me off because he felt threatened & because he's a total retard. Point 3 was I think Pollock's pickup was ONLY justified by Verdugo's injury. What has AJ done? Vassegh said my other two suggestions were so asinine he had to cut me off. Way to go, retard.
This reminds me of a couple years ago when Vassegh was in the Plaschke crowd & thought the Dodgers should spend another 20 or 30 million dollars (on top of the luxury tax) & I asked him how that worked out for him. The Dodgers won without them. He got bent out of shape & asked why anyone would ask that question after a Dodger victory. A Dodger victory brought about by NONE of his expensive free agent proposed acquisitions. Fucking 'tard.

The two teams predicted and expected to be in the World Series are both playing a Game Five in their home parks. The Braves also go home for a fifth deciding game with the Cards.
Funny how only the Yankees were able to sweep the Twins. They will be good and rested for the Rays / Astros later this week.
Our upside is we get to stay home and will likely be in the same pitching position as both of our opponents should we advance to the next round.
Looking forward to tomorrow night . . .

I was surprised by how easy the Yankees made it look.

Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw: Available for Game 5
Rotowire 16H ago
Kershaw will be available out of the bullpen for Game 5 of the NLDS against the Nationals on Wednesday, but manager Dave Roberts clarified he wouldn't necessarily "piggyback" off starter Walker Buehler as previously said, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Roberts said he meant Kershaw wouldn't be limited to a one-batter or one-inning situation Wednesday, which makes sense given he'll have received a full four days rest heading into the decisive game. It will be all hands on deck out of the bullpen in Game 5 for the Dodgers. The veteran left-hander gave up three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four across six innings during his start in Game 2.

You sound a lot younger and healthier than I pictured 😁 nice 👍 Yeah, Kevin Kennedy brought some good stuff to the show. But ever since Vassegh is doing the show solo it has taken a major dump. He thinks he knows it all LOL. Roggin and Rodney bash him for his homerism when he comes on the show. It's pretty easy to see where his lively hood comes from. Total douche!

Seems that Kike at 2nd, Muncy at 1st, and Beaty in LF would be best defensively other than that great lineup.

CT3 better against righties than Kike.
He’s 1-16 vs. Strasburg though, that explains it.
