81' and I was turning 6 at the time. My dad took me to opening day. Man it was an amazing and overwhelming experience

I told the story before of how I got the billynono moniker on the MLB board.
Shortly after Bill Singer pitched his no-hitter, the Dodgers had a promotional giveaway of a 45 record with Vin calling the last outs. I played that thing until it wore out. "And Billy-no-no pitches a no-no!" Don Drysdale had given Singer that nickname for how his head went side to side while running.
Vin made me a Dodger fan more than anyone else.
